Tyrs Paladium ( 2008-2023 going on SIXTEEN YEARS STRONG) has representation in multiple MMOs including Guild Wars 2, DDO - Dungeons & Dragons Online, Neverwinter, Elder Scrolls Online, POE - Path of Exile, DIABLO 4 and the new upcoming BALDUR'S GATE 3.

Our GW2 branch is RELAUNCHING and we are looking to grow this portion of the guild with like-minded players 30-70+ in age group.

Our playstyle? Simple, we play a relaxed game, together. We are looking for those who appreciate old school D&D values of the founding fathers mentioned below, such as camaraderie, good adventure, challenge, and most especially FUN! 1. No drama. If you are found intentionally creating or maintaining conflict or discomfort between players, you will be removed. However, reporting a problem is not drama.

2. Only guild leadership can remove players from the guild. If there is an issue, bring it to your leaders.

3. Please use your IGN (In Game Name) or one of your character names as your Tyrs forum name. Current members, please do not change your name.

4. Please post an intro in the Roster and Recruitment section of this website, and add your characters to the Roster.

5. Please post your birthdays on this site, just so we can embarrass you with big birthday announcements. :D

6. Be courteous and respectful. This costs you nothing and goes a long way.

7. Religion/Politics: Please avoid these topics in general chat and guild chat, as they can cause unnecessary conflict.

8. YOU DO NOT LEAVE PEOPLE BEHIND! That means 'no zerging', whether we're exploring areas or doing a structured mission. We run at the pace of the slowest person in the party. We support and encourage beginners.

9. Guild comes first. If you’re assembling a party, ask your guildies if they want to join in before soliciting other party members.

10. We do not exploit the game! If you are caught intentionally cheating, you will be removed from the guild.

11. NO DISCRIMINATION! As a non-biased guild, Tyrs Paladium is committed to being a safe, welcoming space for all players. If you act or speak in a way that demeans or diminishes other people, you will be removed. This includes, but is not limited to, disrespect based on race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability.

12. If you have to log off or leave your keyboard while in a party, please clearly communicate this to other party members. This is a matter of respect and courtesy. Remember that your actions reflect on the guild as a whole, especially in PUGs (pick-up groups).

13. Do your best to be active in the guild community. You do not have to participate in everything, but please look for ways to contribute, in guild chat, on the website, and by participating in events when possible.

14. Real life comes first.

15. We at Tyrs Paladium take pride in our dedication to be inclusive of all types of gamers, regardless of ability. We have many members who are able to play and enjoy the game in spite of physical, cognitive and communication impairment. Please keep this in mind when playing. You never know who is behind the character you are talking to or playing with in game.

16. This website and any third party voice chat channels are extensions of the guild. All rules apply here, in all chat forums, and in game.

17. Insubordination will NOT be tolerated. Joking/goofing around is OK, but once it goes past a certain point, it will not be tolerated. Malicious or disrespectful treatment of other players (including criticism based on their game knowledge or skill level) is unacceptable.

18. Please use appropriate names. Some very vulgar and offensive things will get through the name filter. They will not be tolerated in Tyrs.

19. Dual/Multi-boxing (playing two accounts simultaneously and potentially hindering a group effort) is not permitted, unless the group knows you are doing this and approves. You may be logged on to multiple accounts if a group effort is not affected and game rules are not being broken.

We accept all different player levels into Tyrs, from new to hardened game vets. Yet, we are quite selective who we choose. We are looking for people who want to teachand lead, and/or want to just play with others in the guild. We seek veterans who share our style of play. We seek those that want to be part of a tight band of brothers and sisters.

I will share my favorite Tyrs Paldium Guild forum post of St Patty's Day that ya'll non-guildies missed.

WE HAVE CAKE!!!

Infuse this Guinness cake with Baileys Original Irish Cream for a St. Paddy's Day treat your guests will crave!

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour3⁄4 cup dark cocoa powder1 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon kosher salt3⁄4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature1 & 1⁄2 cups granulated sugar1⁄2 cup packed brown sugar1 cup sour cream, divided2 teaspoons vanilla extract3 large eggs1 cup Guinness Draught Stout1⁄4 cup Baileys Irish Cream1 & 1⁄4 cups melted vanilla ice cream2 cups heavy whipping cream1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips1 tablespoon coconut oil

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350oF (325oF for convection ovens). Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
2. Whisk together flour, dark cocoa powder, baking powder, and kosher salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
3. Combine butter and both sugars in a large bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat on high for 2–3 minutes. Beat in 3⁄4 cup sour cream and vanilla extract. Beat in eggs.
4. Mix in half of the flour mixture. Mix in Guinness Draught Stout. Mix in the rest of the flour.
5. Pour cake batter into prepared baking dish. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean or with only a few crumbs attached.
6. Remove from oven and let cake cool. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
7. Whisk together Baileys Irish Cream and melted vanilla ice cream. Pour mixture over cake, being sure to fill the holes. Use a silicone spatula to spread liquid evenly.
8. Combine heavy whipping cream and 1⁄4 cup sour cream in a bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat on high until soft peaks form. Spread whipped cream evenly over cake.
9. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
10. Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth. Drizzle cake with melted chocolate.
11. Slice and serve!

Guild Meeting REVIEW: Tuesday 3/24/21

Our guild meeting took place Tuesday night, March 23rd, and we had a great turn out.

I went over what the benefits are of being an old school drama free guild such as Tyrs Paladium, as well as the opportunities members have in order to group up and get help with their toons/characters.

Our guild website is our HOME BASE. Its the single place that you can get help or give help 24/7/365. Meeting guildies that do and don't play when you do can really come in handy when posting about character building questions and topics. Or game content questions. Our move to DISCORD is really GROOVIN' and getting cozy -- so JOIN IN!!

I often referred to parts of our website that have been very useful to us over the years as a guild:

Our global section can be seen in ALL guild chapters, and is a great way to meet guildies that play in our other games! The Tyrs Tavern and Tyrs News.

And our Guild Wars 2 Section is a perfect space to organize your playtime, meet and help guildies!
