winks.7986
Hi,I've been having an issue with game crashed the last 4 days. I can log in just fine, the game opens, but so many textures are bugged when I get to the character selection screen. Usually the game will crash a few seconds after getting to this point. I did manage to actually select a character and go in the world one time, the game never crashed, but the lighting/textures were super messed up. I've tried updating all of my drivers and that hasn't worked. I've attached some images of what the textures look like. Any help?https://imgur.com/KZU0hn2https://imgur.com/qCaLqbB) Thanks! TheQuickFox.3826
Also, please make sure you don't accidentally have any add-ons installed or mods like ReShade/SweetFX/D912PxyRemove/rename any d3d9.dll file from your guildwars2 or guildwars2/bin64 directory because these will sit between the game and your DirectX drivers, possibly messing things up. winks.7986
Hi,I removed d3d9.dll as suggested by @"TheQuickFox.3826" , and it fixed my issue. However I haven't seen the game in a hot minute so I can't tell if my game looks correct now, looks like everything is.. darker somehow. Does this look right to you guys?https://imgur.com/a06RaMj
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Yes, remove from bin folder.Looks fine to me; certainly not dark. You can change the Gamma Option to something you prefer, of course.
