BunjiKugashira.9754 Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 The ip-address shown on the loading screen when using -maploadinfo sometimes does not match the ip-address given by typing /ip in chat. At organised events this has led to some confusion as people thought they were on a different map than they actually were on. The issue started around the time PoF was released. Healix.5819 Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 They quietly started using Amazon's servers about 4 months ago for some of HoT's maps, then rolled it out to other areas. For these servers, the /ip is the local network IP, whereas -maploadinfo shows the real one. ArenaNet's servers start with 64 for NA and 206 for EU, so when -maploadinfo shows something different, it's probably Amazon. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
