Meteor Shower??????

So the skill is called meteor shower???? Why?? It’s in fire attunement??? But a meteor is a rock?? I’m recalling this 5th skill for staff Firestorm and it will rain down fire.. anet please change this. My role playing doesn’t make any sense!! Or put meteor shower in earth attunement I don’t know but this needs to be addressed! Love the game other than that though!

Because meteors moves in such speed that the surface or the rock becomes burning hot. Friction as reference.

It actually has to be in water attunement since its called shower.

They aren't natural meteors they're conjured by the elementalist. It's probably easier to create fire than chunks of rock so the "meteors" are probably actually just fireballs being dropped from overhead. They're just called meteors because they have a superficial resemblance i.e. the spell just looks like a meteor shower.

it is in fire attunement, because it's been there in guild wars 1 aswell.

Whilst we're at it make Lava Font an earth magic skill too! Lava is liquid rock after all.
