Blecher's Bluff / G. Beakerbane before having Woo

I just started the Belcher's Bluff activity. Honestly, I get zero fun at it, but that would be one way to keep earning APs.

According to the different guides, I started first with Berddi (easy) and achieved to beat her, obtaining my first signature move "Back in my day".The next easy one would be G. Beakerbane. Only the problem is that I don't achieve to beat him. All guides give the hint to use "Woo". Ok, nice, but I don't have that yet because it comes with a hard NPC, meanning for a later step.

Could anyone give me some hints about how to beat G. Beakerbane while not having the "Woo" signature?

I did the one that unlocks said skill before Beakerbane, if I recall correctly.
