Astral Weapons - This can't be right!?

Ok is there actually any reason to craft Astral Weapons instead of Stellar? I mean it's obvious Stellar Weapons are clearly the more lavish ones and they are Ascended quality.However Astral Weapons require 50 Kralkatite Ingot's to make exactly same amount required to craft a Irradiated Vision Crystal and apart from it the remaining recipe is the same as any old Ascended weapon crafting.So I don't see how this can actually be right, I mean if both require 50 Kralkatite Ingot's to make, which is the main issue in crafting both, who will actually choose to craft Astral over Stellar once they have 50? Unless you really want both skins unlocked there is really no reason to do it. If I didn't know better then I would say this must be a mistake and originally Astral were suppose to require 5-10 Kralkatite Ingot's but not 50.

Um, don't you have to craft the Astral weapon in order to acquire the recipe for the Stellar weapon? So, not really a choice to craft one or the other...

Nope. You just have to craft one astral weapon and then do the mirror collection to unlock them.

Some people prefer the more simpler skins without particles or effects. I think it's great there's an alternate set for those as well.
