anyone know where i can find a wvw tempest video for roamer?

I saw n metabattle a single tempest build roamer wet dagger thats strong vs condis.

Wooden potatoes mains an Ele and has been playing pvp again lately. Dunno if he's using the build you want thou.

There are 2 wvw tempest builds i found 1 is healer i don't have the gear for it.Its a midline build.Second one is double dagger roamer wet dagger roamer strong vs condi.On meta it has 100%.

Those builds are very old and outscaled by supports like firebrand or herald. It's still somewhat good for small scale group roaming and gvg, but even there it's one of the weakest builds currently. Not because it's weak itself, but because there are so many better picks.

Tempest in general is just not worth it in current meta.

I don't have pofire though, so i can't take scourge or firebrand.

Core ele is a lot more effective at roaming than tempest (unless you roam in a group that needs a healer). There are also lots of good HoT roaming builds like DD, chrono or DH.

So i should go core ele? but what kinda core ele then? power? condi?

For core I would suggest d/d arcane water air and if you don't have cele gear mix knights cleric and carrion until you get the balance of stats that work for you.

Is that a power type build or some kinda healer support build? also:i got neither types of gear so far.I got full zerker gear.Looks like i'l have to farm knight cleric gear.

If you look on YouTube for d/d ele there are loads of videos on how to play core d/d and it all still works. Once you get comfortable you could drop earth for fire or air. Enjoy

This is an old video I have on my YT channel, I forgot I don't think it was WET but WAT but some clips could have been WET.

The build is probably inferior to other builds nowadays, but you can still have success with it if you play it right. What I have there is more of an offensive tempest build rather than a support. It'll handle condis decent if you take Ether Renewal but scourges I can imagine will still be a problem.

Depending on the situation, you might be better off with core D/D, my personal favourite is the interrupt D/D build with Air/Water/Arcane

Right now you could probably play it with Marauders with some healing trinkets or just simply go Celestial, maybe add some more condi damage to make it a true hybrid, up to you.

Hi there! I'm the author of the WET dagger build and I'm surprised it's still kicking around. Unfortunately, I can't say the build is quite viable in today's roaming scene as you will have a very hard time fighting holosmiths, spellbreakers, and sword/dagger thief's boon removal. That being said, the build is still good at dealing with condis but outside of niche builds and condi mes being nerfed, you will likely not encounter many condi roamers besides the occasional scourge.
