Guild Wars on Steam from other markets

Obviously, I don't know how these things work but would love that Guild Wars be made available on Steam from other countries, I don't know, I hope there is that possibility. ??

To condense down the flurry of posts that are about to follow..... its unlikely to happen, because Steam takes too much money and adds no value to the partnership. "Exposure" isn't much of an advantage when its already the second largest MMO to still be alive in a Post-Warcraft era.

There is not really much of a point to have GW2 on Steam. I have games on Steam, but I'd rather play without it.

Guild wars, or guild wars 2?

Guys, I'm talking about Guild Wars 1 that arrived today on Steam and is on sale there

I'm not sure ArenaNet has much influence on how Valve (is it?) operates Steam. You'd probably be better served asking them.

Looks like the same steps as when creating a Guild Wars account or adding to an existing Guild Wars account. The only difference is the Serial Key is in a handy window, rather than an email.

That's been the case since GW1 before steam version, it's been years, did we had to create a GW2 account or was it piggybacked from GW1?and was HoM automatically linked for those of us transitioned from GW1 to GW2?
