Mount speeds

First of all, thanks, you made a believer out of me. I didn't think that the game could get better with mounts, and now I love it.I have a small issue, some of my friends don't have PoF, so they don't have mounts, and I run into the constant problem of not using my mount or using my mount and leave my friends behind. I know what you are thinking, you can leave your friends behind, but I don't want them to be left alone and sad.

Can we please get the rp walk to normal character speed???

Or maybe convince you friends to purchase PoF. Always leaving them behind will only make them want to do so. Don't handicap your game play. Too bad for them.

Using the /trot emote applies a -50% move speed condition for 1hr while mounted...

Your friends might actually be able to keep up with your mount, depending on their prof.

Or assign a key to the "walk" option in the keyboard options. So you can toggle your speed from normal to slow walk and back.

Would be fun if 1 other person could mount on your mount and ride with you.

There is a keybind to make your character walk, it works with with mount too

I believe the key bind for walking speed is Ctrl+R. Hopefully that slows the mounts down enough.

I know there is an rp walk, but the speed is slower than normal walk, but the mount speed is too fast for my friends, so tapping that would be a bit annoying.. My friends don't have the money right now to buy HoT or PoF, I was lucky to get a copy for myself as a gift even.

Hmm...don't use your mount then? Just walk/run with them as we used to before the expansion. Honestly that seems to be the only logical solution to your problem. Either that or they purchase PoF :)

hmm how about they made that u can carry one more or 2 more players on the same mount whit mastery ? instead to slow things down i wanna make mounts more fast if u ask me :)

It is easy, do not use YOUR mount and you''ll be even with your friends.
