I can't Log in

I'm a returning player and I can't log in the only reason i can log in to post this is because my password was saved but I have no idea what it is I've posted a ticket but did not get an email verifying I sent one and it's taking ages....

I can log in to the website but the game keeps saying my password is inccorect???

Managed to reset my password on my account Yet logging in still says it's invalid LOL fix your game jesus christ

If you want a direct response, you'll need to submit a support ticket. If you didn't get the confirmation email after sending in your first ticket, that means that it either went to your spam folder OR that your ticket didn't go through. If you've checked your spam folder and still don't see the email, then you need to submit another ticket.

If you can login to account.arena.net, you should be able to login to the game. There are a few cases however where the launcher can bug and not allow you to login. Delete the folder %appdata%/Guild Wars 2, and all gw2cache folders under %temp%. You can also try bypassing the launcher using the options:-email "example@email.com" -password "example" -nopatchui

If you don't have the game installed and are running Gw2Setup.exe, rename it to Gw2.exe and place it where you want to install it. Gw2Setup can bug and show the login screen, which will always fail, whereas renaming it simply installs to its current folder.

Can defo log in here I will try this as I'm trying to log in via the launcher

My data folders show none of these foldersonly Bin64 GW2.dat GW2.tmp GW2 -64 GW2 64tmp THIRDPARTYSOFTWAREREADME :/

%appdata% and %temp% are variables. Press WindowsKey+R and enter %appdata% to open the path, or you can enter it into the address bar of any folder.

RE downloaded the entire game did all of the above and it still says my password is invalid even though it isn't ticket response time is ridiculous guess I won't be returning to this game

I'm having the same problem. I've reset my password but it still says it's incorrect.

All seems fine now. The log in page had somehow added a number after my email address that I hadn't noticed, so obviously it would be incorrect. Duh! lol. I removed the number and it's fine :)
