  1. In the Lv.10 human personal story step for the street rat, "Going Undercover", when entering Seraph headquarters to report on your findings, the entrypoint is higher than it should be. The exit indicator is also at the same height, but because of the radius, it can be interacted with to leave. This is unintended behaviour, however, so it's being reported here. 🙂
  2. I have run into this issue. Sadly, the only way out of this one is to force a exit to character select. Perhaps, when tasked with making the bed, track that the player actually has the items in their inventory or storage before permitting them into the homestead to proceed with the craft; or, allow them to leave the homestead if their supplies are not sufficient. I prefer the former, since new players will want to get this right the first time and not wind up into a situation like this.
  3. Selecting any other weapon besides the Bloodbound Spear will allow you to purchase it; however, attempting to even select the Bloodbound Spear from the provisioner's purchase window will automatically crash the game. Possibly look into any instances of trying to select the Bloodbound Spear from any storage causing a crash as well. Update: discovered that this only occurs if you actually have a spear equipped; you can purchase the spear if you do not have a spear equipped. However, since this does create a crash, I am still leaving this up.
  4. Items acquired or purchased that progress the "Master Of" achievements which is unlocked via the acquisition of the Gleam of Sentience are unsalvageable, despite saying that you can salvage these items for unbound magic. It is regardless of the source -- all of these 'trophies' cannot be salvaged no matter the grade of tool. Effects: all Living World S3 areas (Bloodstone Fen, Ember Bay, Bitterfrost Frontier, Lake Doric, Draconis Mons, Siren's Landing) Perceived severity: Minor Blocks progress?: No (This does not have an effect on collection progression)
  5. You probably don't want to buy many Master's salvage kits. As was spoken above, you would want to combine 1 basic, fine and journeyman salvage kit with 1 mystic forge stone to create a Mystic salvage kit, which is cheaper than buying the equivalent for the amount of uses you get. Save the mystic salvage kit uses for rare+ gear, and use basic for anything less if you don't have the copper-fed kit (but trust me, you should if you can convert enough to gems to do so).. The only reason I do this, is not only that you get a chance of better items from the rare/exotic stuff, but having the 80% chance to salvage from the rune/sigil as well as the 25% rarer mats (you can get mats for crafting Vision crystals salvaging 80 exotics) is really nice to have esp. for those qualities. Because of this, master/mystic on anything less than rare is not worth wasting the uses.
  6. Don't rush it too fast. We skritt don't like tripping over wires! Hope it's all fixed and ready soon though. <3
  7. Infusions aren't exactly useful outside of fractals, raids and World vs. World. The only thing you'll want for fractals esp. if you're pushing higher levels is anything bundled with +Agony resist. But you can use influsions to complement your gear if you're open world. +Power if you're running a power setup. +Condi if you're running condition damage. Anything else should be already based on your gear, runes and sigils. And you were wise not to get +vitality. Skritt recommends against getting these.
  8. Also, one other thing you need to do before your new Caladbolg is complete is to undertake the three visions trials. Those are at the end of the craft journey, and should be familiar to you if you've done the first one. As these weapons are considered not specific enough (as well as being Ascended quality), they don't have the Unique quality, which means you can wield two at once.
  9. I would suggest doing map metas in Central Tyria to get your experience. Fractals count towards it. Silverwastes esp. if you get a good RIBA (red/indigo/blue/amber) train going on. You can also do world boss circuits, though they net lesser experience but you can get gear which can be turned into materials. If you're especially daring, you can also pitch in with Dry Top, esp. during the assist section which makes the Sandstorm meta (du du du...) spawn more things at higher tiers.
  10. Always power over precision. Power is your damage boost. Unlike other games, precision doesn't make you hit more -- precision increases your chance of critical hits. However, your criticals are based loosely on your weapon damage and your power. When leveling, always prioritise power. Especially in your earlier levels where precision offers little to nothing in the start. Once you start getting two-stat equipment always favor power being greater than precision if you can. It's okay to take some power/vit if you're feeling a little squish, but when you start putting points into specializations (traits), try favoring some survivaiblity but work with your damage or your current utility skill set. For instance, an elementalist would want to go through the Air trait lines for the trait that reduces glyph cooldown, or increased damage vs. low-HP monsters. A ranger would take a trait that would modify their axes, or a mesmer would get a trait that builds on sword skills while also reducing their cooldowns. When you're leveling, always focus on damage -- and for that, focus on power. Let things such as precision, vitality, ferocity complement. Don't worry about other things such as expertise/concentration/healing for the time being. Those will become relevant when you're closer to 80 because they'll be much more useful.
  11. Wrong!Wrong? Yes, wrong because if players are responding to GMs they are not botting or AFK. And it's not on us players to decide that. You can report it but it doesn't change the fact: You don't have to decide what's allowed or not and what has to be sanctioned. The players are not the police, not per se and not per wish by Arenanet or anyone else.If you're responding to GMs then you're not AFK. Which kinda defeats what I was saying. I'm sorry that I'm doing my part to at least tidy up the place and at least have actual people actually playing the game. At this point I'm just not going to bother answering. The point is clearly missed. I have other things to do and it doesn't involve this forum or this game.
  12. Wrong!Wrong? From https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/65548/policy-unattended-gameplayAs a general policy, any form of unattended gameplay is prohibited in Guild Wars 2 . This includes:The use of auto-casting abilities to farm while not at your computer or not actively playing the game. The use of a macro to automate character skills while not at your computer or not actively playing the game. The use of a macro to farm repeatable events or activities for rewards while not at your computer or not actively playing the game. The use of a third-party program to automate or create a "bot" that performs autonomous actions in the game. Sorry, elaboration is required when it's listed in the policy. Please tell me why this policy is wrong.
  13. If you feel like you no longer want to be on your server in World vs. World, then you can see about moving servers. Otherwise, if you do not WvW, a server move is completely un-necessary. The only time server worlds matter is WvW. Everything else happens regardless of what server you're on -- just the fact if you're either NA or EU.
  14. I would consider having most, not all of your kit in Marauder's if survivability is a bit on the rough spot. If your crit chance is well enough, you can make do with using Berserker's for the rest of the items. I would be more concerned having the accessories with Marauder's or the armor as Marauder's; but if you feel you can benefit from the vitality, all-Marauder's is decent (I use it on some of my characters), and having traits and maint items that benefit from precision (furious sharpening stones!) as well as runes can make up for the dent in power and ferocity, can also help mitigate the small DPS punch.
  15. I would suggest salvaging blue unidentified gear outright. If you have the space and want a shot at the rare chance of a rare out, open greens, otherwise salvage. Same thing with yellow -- there's a slight chance at exotics but don't hold your breath. Convenience vs. time and space.
