Hello everyone, oh wait... I write in English but I search for a Finnish speaking guild? Shouldn't I post in Finnish then? Well, let's get to the point: This is a rather unusual request when it comes to a guild. I'm German but I'm living in Finland for over a year now and this language is... hard... really HARD. It's very difficult to learn at home alone and my financial situation isn't good enough to afford a Finnish course at the moment (not a surprise in the current world situation). So I thought: "What could I do to help it and how to have a bit more fun?". Combining language learning with playing my favorite game might be worth a shot! My English also improved a lot back in the days when I just started with online games as a young teenager. I have to admit that my Finnish is very very limited, and I surely could have put more effort into it, but I struggle to keep focus which also led me to lose motivation to learn on my own. Not an excuse, I know, but an explanation. I sadly can't represent your guild all the time, as I'm leading my own but I would love to join a Finnish speaking community to really learn the language, have fun doing that, and help out for raids, fractals etc. I will try my best to communicate in Finnish ofc! Hey all, I'm pretty desperate about the upgrade from dx9 to dx11. My pc uses dx12 and I don't have any issues on any game. Everything runs on highest settings just fine. Except for gw2. When dx9 was standard I had around 120fps in open world. Cities like DR or LA 50-60. Everything on highest settings and I never even struggled during meta events or world bosses. Now with dx11 I noticed a massive drop in fps. Open world 50-60 and in cities I only reach 29. I get the same fps now only on best performance that I had back then on highest settings. My partner has no issues at all. His fps got improved by a lot although my pc has better components and is much newer. Why is that? Due to my sensory issues this game became literally unplayable for me like this. Am I alone with this?

It is 2022 now and this is exactly why I quit the game nearly 2 years ago. I have autism and this is the first game to cause me to meltdown. To some extend I can take flashy effects. Vistas, mounts etc have never been a problem. But they add more and more shiny, flashy accessoires, clothes and so on. I tried the new fractal yesterday after thinking for a long time to return. I ended up having a meltdown and no adjustment in the game helps. I feel that anet went more and more into the flashy direction over the past few years.

Could you please bring back the winged headpiece in the gemstore anytime soon? <3 I want it so badly, though when it first came out I had no chance to log in and buy it since I had no internet for almost 1 month. q.q
