  1. PvP has Very good Gold rewards and you can Gear Up your Charakter from exotic Up to legendary. 

    For pve idk, you can Run arround and try to solo in maguma, that place seemed hard for many Players. 

    Its Not directly solo content, but my friend and me tried to solo/Duo doungens aß far we we're able to (do to mechanics you can't do some doungens solo/duo) but you can do some of them solo and solo There are Not that easy.

  2. So Guys listen, Djinns Dominion is Not Very popular map, its Very small and the objectiv is basicly useless.

    But i Had a GREAT Idea to give at least the objectiv a bigger influnce and a cool twist to the Game.

    - getting the objectiv gains +50 points

    - only one Player of each Team can enter the Arena of the objectiv, a counter is ticking when one Player entered it (10,15, 20 Seconds Need to be balanced Out). If the Other Team doesnt send a Player in your Team gets the Points.

    - have 2 Players entered the Arena a Fight for death Starts, you will Not able to leave the Arena and the winner gets the 50 Points. (You could even still give the Special Action Key idc).

    This Changes will Bring a New dynamic on the map. Entering the Arena pressures the enemy to Bring a Player into the Arena. But Not only a random Guy, at best it should be a strong duelist.

    On the Other Hand you can try to prevent the enemys With cc's to enter the Arena and easily Snack 50 Points (or however how much it will be in the end).

    This will creat a New Type of Split in the Game, since the map is small and only 4 Players for each Team are left in the Rest of the map, it might also Balance Out a Bit that the map is so small.

    Since the objectiv is Not far from the Spawn the waiting counter doesnt Need to be that high. Maybe adding a Tunnel With stairs to the locked room at the beginning could be added to lower the travel Phase.

  3. Since No one brought it Up, Play revenant, or more detailed, Shiro Herald.

    Rev has a pretty high Skill ceeiling, esp in PvP and is a Very fun class to Play, it has its own gameflow and rythm that is very enjoyable and satisfying to execute. But prepare to die a Lot at the Benning, at least in PvP. Its very mobile With 2 Ports, has a Big burst and you Press a Lot of buttons

    I found myself Last year entering With rev, after over 10k PvP Matches on Ranger. I feeded the First Few Matches but It went pretty good after a while.

    In pve you can easily Play quickness DPS and in PvP the build is pretty similar.

    If you Run the recistence trait it copys 3 condis to every target that got hit

    You loose "100" Rating after 3 days Not playing, and every day it will increase by 100 to a maximum of 700.

    But don't worry! You will gain 100 Points for every Game you do! This decay is only that Players can't Camp at Rank 1.

  6. Heyyo, having seed of life instant is not bad, kinda pretty good, but with the 2 second time until it procs, we had a light field that we were able to blast with Lunar Impact to get a Light field condi cleanse blast, which was kinda huge.

    this is skillfull play and would get lost


    is this still there? didn't looked like, pls let it have a 2 second lightfield after it procced

    I was never talking about balancing the Game arround the roles, the roles exist, even If you dislike it.

    But anet should educate Players better in this Game, a Look at the Forum tells me that about 1-2% of the Gamers in Here know what they are talking, the Rest ist having a biased opinion from their and their friends expierience.

    What do you wanna Tell us?that you understand conditions? I am Not Sure because they are Not the Same.

    Dmging conditions have a similarity to Dots, doing DMG over time, but than we have poison which reduces incomming healing on top, torment that punishes you for Not moving and confusion that punishes for using ability (Just Like in Pokemon).

    Blind, weakness, chill, cripple, imobilize, fear, taunt, & vuln have nothing With Dots to do (at least Not the Last Time i played (Legion)).

    On top deathknight doesnt exist in gw2 neither does the Playstyle exist. This is Not a bm, but a good example of the typcial gw2 Pvper.

    There should be an alternative, but the Population is to Low to fill 1q already for balanced Matches.

    I would personaly Love a solo q and Team q seperated, but i am Hardly convinced that we don't have enaugh Players, why i prefer a Mixed 1-5q. Yes i know Solos are afraid of "getting stomped" by full Teams, but the Matches are onesided already in lower Rated matches, people Just try to find another excuse for Beeing defeated.

    Heroes of the storm merged their q's a while ago, and even after Blizzard didnt Patch a year and stopped the Support of the Game. You will find matches in every ELO in less than 30 Seconds.

    Why? Because people can Play With their Friends and stay at the game

  9. I want to know why people hate it, or not want to try it Out, this is Not posted into PvP, because i want to know the opinion from non PvP Players.

    I saw a Lot of Not liking, or Not even want to enter the PvP in this Game.

    For me personaly (a human that played a lot of esport titles), gw2 pvp is outstandingly good designed, even when the balance and the Meta is objectivly Bad it is still a well rounded Game Mode.

    So what annoys/borders/dislikes you Guys about it?

    Or haven't you Just Not checked it Out so far?

    Well actually yes, we don't have many at p3 but If they can't Duo anymore , night q's get terribly Harder, so they are forced to Play in Primetime, which translated into better Match quality Overall.

    On the Otherside, Jesus and dra qued in their Mains 4am, deleted everyone and got both R1 over 2 seasons

  11. Games are onsided, people get mad, call it kitten matchmaking (which is sometimes kinda true) and quit pvp.
    And this is a big barrier for many new players to enter. In my expierence there are few different factors besides the matchmaker:

    - Teamcomps! Some teamcomps have better teamfights, some are better for rotations and in ranked its often a mix in between, the problem?
    people don't know what their teamcomp favors and might feed every fight

    -Rotations! a Result of the teamcomp problem but there is even more! in lower ranks (and in p2+ too) people actually often don't know where to go,
    this ends up in some random rotations that can throw games (if the enemys can take the advantage and don't counter throw it with the same stupid rotation).
    wrong rotations are in Gold and below so common that correct rotations are so super rare that they randomly happen and wins games.

    -Roles! Guildwars doesn't have from the game defined roles, but they exist (Roamer, Bruiser, Supporter, Sidenoder, Bunker, teamfighter, decaper and Hybrids between all of them and idk what else).
    The Problem? well people often bring up their own builds, which i appriciate a lot, but either they don't bring any of the roles on the table OR they don't know their role and the role that the build fulfill.
    This ends up in even more weird rotations, sidenoders join the teamfights, supports try to sidenode on an enemy node and roamer try to bunker against 3 people.

     

    What is the Solution to this? 

    well idk, players often don't like criticsm or advices(heck even in the forums), so anet should maybe bring up a real pvp Tutorial.
    - a big written Guide (INGAME), explaining what the Roles need to do, teamcomp suggestions(with the explained roles) and how simple conquest rotations work.
    - a 5vsBot mode with little popups related to the guide, new players could learn together some simple rules before they get released into the wildlands.

    Instead we got a pet which blinks at medium range, does 0 damage and then return back to the origin point. I mean at least if it's going to be a boomerang teleport and 0 damage  give it some range. 

    It does not matter, still will heal, support, sustain, CC better than anything else with 0 investment.

    We already have ATs with excellent rewards for people who want to play as a team.  I wouldn't be opposed to offering more rewards for ATs and spreading the rewards out slightly (but none to afk teams) to further incentivize participation.

    The Problem of at's is, New Players that Play With their Friends, will get farmed every time With No clue how to improve and quit the Game. There is No way that at's are a real replacement for teamq, because people are facing Teams that they will never Beat, while in Team q a matchmaker does at least the Job and searches for teams/players With "similar" Rating.

    DuoQ no effect on the social aspect of PvP. Most of them don't even talk to eachother.

    Even as a solo you're still playing with other people, all while Unranked and ATs continue existing

    I Play Duo With my friends, the only way to Play with them atm, because they don't want to Play at for the reasons above. And unranked is lacking rewards, any competition and again a matchmaker.
