    the game is still more and more dead and the pvp game has less people, mainly because of the leaderboard, losing raitin is frustrating and demotivating , you can't even win many times you're only involved in a wintrade game / afk / matchmaking modified game..

    Removing the Leaderboard wouldn't fix it, we still would get Bad matches

  2. So, we all know that the matchmaker has problems, lets Talk about.

    - If you are to high you get almost Impossible Matches to win, 3-4 gold Players against a full Plat 2 roaster, a result of the Matchmaker trying to Bring the avarage mmr of both Teams in Line

    - If the q Population is Low, plat1 and 2 Players get Mixed into gold Matches, whifh creates 4 gold Players With 1 plat1/2 against the Same, this results into 2 Players Need to "Guide" their peepos and on of those will Always get -16 or Something arround that

    - Same as the Last Thing but turned arround, still q Population is pretty Low, so 3 Plat 2, 1 plat3 Gamer and a gold 2 get in 2 Team and in the other Team the Same ist going on, so you have to Hope your peepo isnt getting farmed or walks in the correct Position, or at least listen to some calls

    - easy matchfixing With Low Rating Accounts in duoq, for everyone that doesnt know what this is, people creating a second Account 4 free, loosing Like 30 Matches With afking and than duoq at 4 am with their 1700+ friend to secure him an easy win, this is also a Problem created by the matchmaker trying to avarage the Teams Out. If you have 1700 and 800 q togheter you effectivly searching at 1250 Rating range where they destroy everyone.

    So what is the conclusion? People end Up in the wrong Matches, very often, i know anet showed once how "Close" the mmr of the Players that played togheter was, BUT that was in gold 1/2 and it still had gold 3 Players in, which Sounds fine, but from gold 3 to Plat 2 its the Same Rating range, but an absurd amount of Skill increase that is happening here. These Players should never matched With and against each Other.

    I am asking for 2 Things in with this Post

    1. Disable duoq With Guys that X amount Rating away from you (Something about 200-300), first to Not confuse the matchmaker, second to disable the possibility to abuse night q's and third, to get away some of those afkers

    2. Make hard restrictions to who can Play Play with who, Legend Players should never get gold Players in their Team, even plat2 Players should Not be able to be matched With them, this almost Always ends in a toxic Interaction, where i would Bet, the lower rated Players rather quit directly PvP and never Turn Back to it, while the Higher rated players quit Overtime because the get so hard dissapointed.

    Make Like that If you above 1550 you will only get Players from 1500+ in your Games, everything below is searching for 1549-1400. restrict it even more for people in lower leagues, Like as hard the skillgap is dropping in gold3 and below, These Players are still way ahead from silver players, they should Not get matched With them.

    They should make one of the daily AT's (like every Balthazar's brawl) stronghold at least for a few weeks possibly with increased rewards of some kind to get more skilled players in the game mode to figure out what exactly should be fixed in it. Because I think the game mode is generally pretty good but people in this gamemode seem to hate everything that plays a bit different than the standard conquest maps.

    Skilled Player know exactly how it works, thats why it left ranked

     

    You Push your lane as fast as possible and win, its more Like a speedrun race than pvp

  4. New Tournaments Like the 2vs2/3vs3/4vs4 and Stronghold Tournaments

    Maybe every day 1 Special AT, what avout maybe 1vs1 at's, so many Options and i am pretty Sure it wouldn't be a hazzle to make them (since they we're already Here!)

    Include maybe a little Titel Like 2vs2 Champ or what ever, keep doing stuff to make people excited

    Game is broken since pof Release, If you denie that, you are basicly anaware

    Balancing 8 classes in Core guildwars 2 was already quite hard, now we have 9 classes and 27 additional subclasses

    I am Not fine With every decision but Most of the Last few Made Sense, some stuff Had good ideas but didn't worked Out as planned

     

    Man they tried 2 times With decent buffs to Berserker to Bring it Back and condi Berserker is Not rly bad

    The diversity is getting restricted by having the mandatory traitline. 

    In PvP you are forced right now to Always Play the save build, this endsup in having a Very forced Meta.

    For example Warrior, you are forced to Pick disciplin, i tried it to Not use it, but its straight Up Impossible.

    If you want to Play Core Warrior you Always Lack the DMG, you can only get to spb DMG when you are Picking strenght and arms, but than you are a weak noodle.

    If you Pick Defense strenght, you are doing the Same DMG as pure Defense spb does, but you still don't have fullcounter, dagger or spb DMG buff (idk how its called in english)

    If you Run strenght spb you get dmg to punish enemys for mistakes but are SOOOOO easy to kill 

    You are forced to Play Defense spb or Defense condi Berserker, everything Else ist Trash

    With the 4th traitline you could Play:

    Disciplin Defense strenght Arms

    Disciplin Defense strenght tactics

    Disciplin strength Arma tactics

    Disciplin spb Defense strength

    Disciplin spb strength tactics

    Disciplin spb Defense tactics

    Disciplin spb Defense Arms

    Disciplin Berserker Defense strenght

    Etc.... These would get all viable choices because you get the DMG to kill people while also having survivablity to Not die to the first Thief that Sees you

    This would Work With Ranger the Same, it would probably Work With any class, inpvp you are forced to play so high DMG that you oneshot or playing every bot of sustain that you are not randomly die to some Support guard F1.

    If you want to Bring Up Something in between you are Hardcore useless, you don't kill your enemys neither can you survive anything.

    Nadescrappee Shows that you Need broken DMG combined with perma Superspeed to be agressiv, fresh air cata showed that you Need broken dmg With perma Superspeed and blinds to be competetiv

    This is all stuff that is absolutely obnoxious to Play against, while IT Kills any build Diversity

  7. Its time for a huge change in the Meta, while also providing less Bad builds. 

    The solution is simple, the Major traitline, for every class, should be permanently enabled and act as a fourth traitline.

    But why on earth exactly should you do that? Good that you ASK!

    "Essential traitlines" aß i would call them, Provider mainly buffs for the class mechanic, which have almost Always the biggest Impact in the builds, especially in the PvP Game modes

    With making the following traitlines as a permanent Addition to the current choose what you want system, we would have Overall less Bad builds, New possibility's to create and a Lot to playarround before the Meta settles.

    Core builds could have a way bigger Impact, while Elite Specs would probably get a more smaller bump.

    DIsciplin for Warrior

    virtuoses for Guardian*

    Invoke for rev*

    Beastmastery for Ranger

    trickery for Thief

    tools for engi**

    Arcane for ele

    Soulreaping for necro

    Illusions for Mesmer

    * Not Sure If its called Like that

    ** I have No clue about engi maybe ITS alchemy or idk 

    You could enable These from lvl 10-20, an early teaching for traitlines while also telling indirectly, this is the Heart of every build.

    New Players combined with Bad decisions, would Happen less, expierinced Players would have more Tools to Play arround.

    PvP players (me) would gain more flexible ways to Play, more DMG, more Defense, or Something in between.

    condi/Power Hybrid builds could have an easier time to become viable (instead of beeing useless)

    the statsbased Meta would move a Bit behind, since so much traitlines give more "Power" With the build

     

    of course There is a Chance of negative Impact, Players in PvP could maybe be easily Tech into Hardcore Bunker or Hardcore oneshot, but maybe this is resolving in it self.

  8. on eu top 250 is 1500+ rating, this was hardly achievable throughout the last season. i am not even sure if i can't remember when we hit this number at the beginning of the season.

    game is fun, and people start playing, if YOU PLEASE keep up the eye on your game and maybe do some small fixes faster (i have an eye on you scrapper) the playerbase could actually recover 
    i had this season already more good quality matches than the last 2 years combined.
