[What makes celestial armor so good?]

Jack of all trades wins in GW2..

While all those high damage Viper, Berserkers and Rampagers are dying on the ground my Celestial characters are ressing them and still fighting.. 🤣

My Thief, Ranger, Mesmer and Necro all run Cele.

You know, a unique mount to do things the other mounts cant, that isnt the default mount pick for most every situation. 

What would a new mount bring to the table better than the ones we've already got.. Turtle is useless, Griffon is overshadowed by Skyscale, Raptor over shadows Doggo and Catto.

I suppose we could have a Jetpack that work like a Skyscale?

its a little poorly designed that the meta can be progressed faster than the bases can be upgraded voiding all efforts of the players trying to upgrade it.

 

Achievements where there a little conflict of interest amongst players suck a little bit tbh, people want to rush the meta and I dont blame them, but some of us need to take an extra 5 mins to upgrade the base, but there's nothing we can do to convince the people on the map to slow down 😞

I've done them meta twice now and i didn't even know they were upgradable lol

If I play Vindicator, I jump on mobs and they die to my jump. That isn't fun, if I wanted to play a mobile auto-battler I'd turn my phone on and do it.

For a game that prides itself on "no gear progression" and "no power progression", the amount of power creep is absurd and invalidates all the old content. This game is turning into "Play the expac" just like themepark MMO's, why?

Actually jumping on mobs and them dying i find fun.. its the bosses that take 2hours to kill for no rewards thats not fun.

ArenaNet hates Ranger? wtf?
Druid is doing fine and it's pretty obvious it's solo bench is a bit inflated but it's realistic dps is completely in line with the rest of the bunch. ~39/40k There is no reason to nerf this and ArenaNet should pretty well know. Maybe they will tweak how Bloodmoon works with pulsing Entangles and buff Eclipse instead (which clearly underperforms as the Grandmaster DPS option imho compared to Bloodmoon).

chill guys. Right now the numbers are a bit off for some builds, in particular the PvE Boon Support builds. That's it. And some first tweaks are already announced for July 18th.
Apart from that Ranger and Druid doing fine with even some improvements down the line.

 

Obviously never played at release...

To be fair ranger had it bad for so long expecting nerfs is a normal Ranger trait at this point.

I noticed all the Virtuoso builds required Rampagers gear.. since i got back. So i tried it and well survivability is bad.... But i decided to try my old celestial build instead and it kills almost fast 85% ish but survives way better 95% ish so i basically decided to stick with my old build for fun 🥰

I don't think people discourage you from using level 80 boosts.. I think its more people are trying to help newbies from ruining their experience using them myself.. If you have 20 characters and you want to use a level 80 boost to avoid the grind yet again go for it.. If you are a brand new player and you just totally avoided everything well that was a bit silly.

PvPers and WvWers might use them because they don't generally care about the pve or the stories
