    It's not about me. It really doesn't matter to me if content is challenging to you or not. I find all pve content much more easier than game I am used to play.

    I just don't like when people call casual, all names including trash player or lazy player or whatever the elite class think that they are somehow superior to other gamers.

    I am afraid that little blue label is not enough in moment of chaos. They can definitely give us better way to distinguish between your mech vs others.

    And, to answer your other solution where you have to press a button to call your mech. Many times, mech comes halfway and goes right back to doing whatever it was doing. You have to call it several times and give f command to actually stay where you want it. But, if "F" command is on cooldown, it doesn't stay with you.  And, sometime it goes right past you and stay beyond 360 range.

    funny how you think your way is the right way. Could there be other side of coin, where people think (say) game should be easier where they don't have to improve their understanding of game mechanics in deep to just to have fun. Same goes for DE meta, it's open world group content. People of different flavor play open world specially when it was initially advertised than what it is now.

    I am absolutely fine with having raid, or strike very very hard as long as easier version exist for regular people to enjoy. Not everyone has unlimited time or energy for everything.

    Pve is not challenging to me. I got my "envoy herald" 3 years ago. I am surprised you find this game pve challenging lol.

    And, Yes I do play other game for little bit challenge, like soul games.

  7. Hate to be like this but I am not liking this balance team. Mech don't have underwater bot. Also, they don't get toolbar and NO WEAPON SWAP either.  Now, you gotta hug the green guy when bot AI is really bad.

    I thought their game philosophy was making game fun to play. This is exact opposite of what they said.

  10. If their ultimate goal is for everyone to just stack and spank, what is the point of even having range weapon.

    Gw2 = stack, spank, do your rotation (which you can easily use script).. what does it sound like??

    Everyone is bot in GW2.

    By forcing Mechanist players to reposition their mech once in a while you lower that uptime. Thus decreasing real world performance, but not the benchmark. Basically putting mechanist closer to other specs in actual gameplay, without comprising their performance in optimal scenarios. 

     

    Whether this is fun from a gameplay perspective is something else entirely. But personally I think a pet spec should come with some pet management included and this accomplishes that.

    okay, then they can give us our +4k dps back. As of right now, any half decent player can beat mech real world dps by 3-4k.

    They can make mechanics interesting where you have to do alot more than pressing 1 But, anet always take easy route and make playstyle clunky.

    I guess, it requires real talent to make mechanics of game challenging instead of throwing bunch of aoe on ground and clunky playstyle just to make game harder. This is just cheap and unfun tactics.

  13. Good thing after DE meta, I quit spending dollars in marketplace because I didn't like the way game was going.  3 classes I liked, Reaper, Dragonhunter, Mech and all 3 are junk now. Everything has to be catered toward raid players. Tired of this philosophy.

     Yes, the way build in your example is easier to do does with. That’s the point really isn’t it. Are you telling me then that I, as a slightly-above-average player, could go into a raid on mech and challenge for top dps with snowcrows? Or any other high level raiding guild? I doubt it very very much. They fight the same bosses we do, and so if their melee range dps can do more damage than a mech player, so can you. 

    This hit the home. People suck and they don't want to admit it. Even scourage, virtuoso, fb can outdps power mech by good margin.

    How I know this? I play those classes when I feel like it and I pull much better number than Pmech and I am not even that good of a player.

    People who is invested in game can do this. But there are people who just casually play it. Jump in couple of hours of week. what these elite people saying is, we are not allowed to dps or complete any content except play around Queensdale. Want a shinny in a year or two?, then practice whole month of play time in golem and by the time you are ready, Anet changes build. Then rinse and repeat.

    Mech is truely jack of all trade. It's not the best on anything . I can beat mech dps with alot of different profession but I still prefer to play mech because IT IS FUN and RELAX for me.

    almost but you gotta remember, Mech trades tool belt skill for bot. Try WvW with mech solo or group and see if you still find shift signet op. Mech is just very easy to play in pve instant or open world but definitely not op in instant content anymore except alac version.

    so how does free boon share makes it broken? in which content? As far as I know, Mech kinda falls in middle of pack in almost every cat except alac pmech.

    In terms of lore, how does a mechanist suddenly teleport from one position to another? In the wiki description and the description in-game, it states "you and your mech shadowstep to the target location". If you click on the hyperlinked "shadowstep", it directs you to the thief's skill shadowstep. So they basically just copied and pasted from the thief blink, but added a lot more to it and removed the option to return back to the original position.

     

    Therefore, Shift Signet should not have the ability to blink. The active should just be the condi cleanse or maybe some superspeed to you and the mech.

    Interesting point but what about guardian and rev?, ranger with smokescale and basically every profession in game?
