  1. No no. I know what that sound like, as Ive done it myself. These are ability aoes and they run on for hours and hours. Seriously.
  2. YES!!! There is a volume slider. Worked!!! Thank You!
  3. Simply there are players that enjoy being obnoxious. There is one particular player that enjoys parking him/her-self next to a crafting station (at a particular gem-store bought pass location) and play their music instrument non-stop for hours. They dont move or do anything. I believe this was the same player that a few weeks ago was standing in the exact same place, spamming a noisy AOE ability over and over and over again, definitely macro run. Technically there is nothing in the rules that prohibit what he is doing and he has stated so despite reports. However, there is no reason why I have to be subject to his abuse of a loophole. So my request is this: when blocking a player, please mute their music/sound effects from us as well if at all possible. Sorry if this is in the wrong section. This is a large forum.
  4. My Asura wants a Norn Mustache. As well as kitchen utensil weapon skins. PS. Thanks for finally making Asura three-toed shoes.
  5. I like how you think. You are correct in that Elementalists dont really feel like a "Mage" or "Wizard" type. As much as I would like it to be.
  6. WTB Kitchen/Cooking Utensil Weapon SkinsMy Elementalist: "Burt The Squishy" :)
  7. Seems each class has their "prominent" condition damage and as far as I can tell, Elementalists (core) use Burning as their strongest with Bleeding coming in second. While at Mount Maelstrom I noticed that many creatures are immune to Burning which places Elementalists at a disadvantage if Burning is your dominant damage. However as masters of the Elements (a little role playing here), shouldn't they be able to compensate with some naturally logical changes? That is, if an NPC is immune to Burning, should they then not be more susceptible to Water/Ice Damage? Perhaps a 1.5x to 2.0x water/ice damage increase against Burning Immune creatures? Something else, and again at Mount Maelstrom while tackling the Megadestroyer Boss, there are some class(es) that are capable of standing in the lava without getting burned. Don't know which or how they do it but they do it and from my squishy little Elementalist point of view, it's a damn good trick. However, as master of the elements shouldn't I be able to mitigate same burning damage when standing in lava? If not long term but with at least an "ice shield" without having to rely on self healing (which is limited) to carry you through? Just some thoughts. Edit: I didn't write "kitten good trick." This board has a weird censor filter.
  8. Yeah, it would be strictly a cosmetic in change. Like you I think it would be neat to see the Daily fractals and Recs scrolling on the holo-screens. Im a fan of making graphics useful as well as pretty.
  9. I would like to see what Fractals are the day's Dailies as well as Recs at a glance. I'm sure the art department can do a much better job, but this is what I mean:
  10. OK, found out Sigil of Water will fire off 50% of the time on crit. That explains why they both dont fire off together on crit.
  11. Both should heal on crit but my results show different. Tested my self heals against mobs with no allies just to be sure.Sigil of Water shows as Wave of Healing BTW.
  12. Ive been playing for about 6 months now. What I find "hard" about Guild Wars is the lack of in-game directions and explanations. Having to always TAB out to look it up on the internet is not a good way to play a game. Chasing Mastery points only to find that you have to complete certain other Masteries in order to "reach" the mastery point you want is counterproductive. One Mastery Point in particular requires the use of a Griffon? WTH? After fighting your way through a hoard of NPCs to reach the mastery point you want, to only find out it is inaccessible to you is very frustrating. Exploration is a nightmare. Taking a pause to look at your map and get your bearings is very difficult because you will be attacked by some NPC. There is a thin line between "challenging" and "frustrating." Suggestion: When out of combat, give a player zero aggro when looking at the full map. He is basically blind to the world around him when the map is opened, so. If the player opens the map while "in combat" then it wouldn't apply.
