  1. Interesting. Seems like it might be a SSD only problem. I might also consider re-installing GW2 on my SSD in the future, so if indeed this is a problem it would be nice if it is fixed. SSD, 48gb here. Nice, I guess it will be fine for me to download again onto my SSD then. Not sure why the OP is having a problem installing on their SSD then. I assume that you only need the required 48 GB of space free on the SSD to be able to download and install the files, unless there is some compression done of the game files after installation? BTW You don't need to download it again. You can just move the gw2 folder and all its contents to a folder on your SSD, update your desktop shortcuts to point to the new location and it should work fine. Lo and behold I've found the issue that was doubling the size of the GW2 folder, and honestly everything else I move to that drive. I'm no expert on Windows or hardware/software, but it turns out that moving files from an uncompressed drive onto a compressed drive doubles the storage use of that file. The remedy I've found is that I simply uncompressed my SSD, and copy-pasted GW2 onto the SSD. Issues in Windows forums have come up before dealing with this. 2. On my HDD I have (sitting at 47.9GB).-addons-bin64-gw2.dat-gw2.tmp-gw2-64-gw2-64.tmp-thirdpartysoftwarereadme I haven't been able to install on my SSD because of the issue. I found the original problem which was a dupe in the addons folder. But when installing or copying to the SSD the space will reserve the GB needed for the file (in the case of cut-paste) and slowly eat the storage, or it will quickly eat the space (when fresh downloading).
  3. No I downloaded without signing in and slowly watched my 60GB turn to 100MB. Only it wasn't slow it was basically eating my SSD. Edit: I can confirm my .dat file is only 47.8GB, but whenever I try to install on my SSD it uses up 90+GB.
  4. Why does Steam say you only need 55-65GB storage for GW2?My GW2 folder is 95GB.
  5. It's radio silence on the matter. I also agree that if LWS5 are every 3 months it's FUBAR.
  6. I pre made these gifts for the PvP armor though... so it's kind of the same with the new ones coming out, don't you think? What happens to those who have legendary armors already? They don't get the new skin? @Ben Phongluangtham.1065 said: The recipes for upgrading the PvP Ascended armor into legendary will remain the same. Though, new recipes for upgrading the new armors, when they are done, may be added. We haven't decided this fully yet.
  7. Do you think we should be able to salvage these items:Gift of Competitive ProsperityGift of Competitive ProwessGift of Competitive Dedication Salvaging these items would be like the Gift of Fortune where it returns the mats in base form when you salvage it.
  8. foefire wraps and greaves should come back... i'd definitely pay for that.
  9. I suggest a sleeping cap that is dye friendly for Legend of Zelda cosplayers
  10. I'd like to see the Wreath of Cooperation back in the gemstore. Also you guys have probably already started, but I'd definitely pay for a dragon griffin skin.I'm basically into whatever as long as it's not the species of the base mounts.
  11. I'm a warrior main Axe/Axe with Longbow. On my second try defeating the Eater of Souls I got him down to 60 percent on accident by stunning him during his second AoE attack in the beginning of the fight. He healed back to 100% after a couple more failed attempts at DPS and I haven't been able to stay alive long enough to get to that point again. Is there any way to dodge his siphon? I don't have fast enough reflexes to stun him during the 1st AoE siphon, which I think is how I managed to get him down to 60% that one time. His second siphon/AoE attack is easy to stun because it always comes after the 1st. I watched a youtube video of I think a mirage, but he had pistols so I'm not sure. It looked like the Eater didn't even get to siphon the guy in this clip: Currently I have 2 knockbacks ready on my actionbar, but I have no idea how to do this with my level of skill. Any tips?
