  1. Reaper tanky? Permanent 100% life force? Dude what. As other people said, you're clearly merging multiple builds together. Grasp sounds sick when you look at it but then you realize you're giving up a defensive skill, which you can't afford to do as a reaper. GS pull is so unreliable most of the time that I normally dodge it without even noticing it coming. By all means, nerf Lich's autoattack and rework the whole form so a 150sec CD doesn't get hard countered by reflects.
  2. I'm disconnecting every 2 minutes in Lion's Arch losing crafted items in the process so I assume it's not map-specific.
  3. You're going with the assumption that getting to a certain bracket is always deserved. As someone who has calibrated way too high after my placement matches (+5 more lucky matches), I would disagree. Someone gets lucky with wins and ends up stuck in plat 1? Who would want that? I wouldn't want that because I'd be playing out of my league all season, and players who actually belong to p1 would have to carry me every game. No thanks. If you would recommend there is somehow the option for a player to not allow himself to drop down a bracket, remember there are plenty of people who wouldn't mind dragging their team down as long as they get to keep the bragging rights of plat badge (that noone else cares about). And if you argue that your change makes more sense for plat-> legendary, remember all the win-trading and dodging going on there.
  4. Does pvp have higher carapace stack maximum? March nerfed pvp's version to +10 per stack, so assumingly it would be 300 maximum.I haven't seen any meta builds with Death Magic since then (or ever).
  5. Well, the obvious "easy" fix would be to reduce both CD and autoattack damage, but the problem with not putting out balance patches often enough is you might swing too much in one direction. Personally I'd prefer they reworked/rebalanced lich's skills in a way that doesn't revolve around me spamming 1.

I get that most people want to just pick a fotm build, see big damage numbers and flex on their opponents in a deathmatch, but having the depth of rotations just adds so much to the game and makes it less reliant on class balance. I would agree that being able to go from one side to the map to the other in a few seconds on a few builds is a bit much, but that can be easily toned down.
  7. Are you saying they should move to deathmatches instead of Conquest? You realize then it would be 100% reliant on profession balance. No roamers, no clutch decaps, no strategy (unless you count WoW's pillar humping as strategy), nothing - you wouldn't be able to outsmart people the same way you can now. I'm not sure why anyone would want that, especially given the current balance.
