I was in the same boat as you. This game is super solo friendly so it makes it easy to fall into solo play and build anxiety with playing along with others. I tell you the most fun I've had yet has been with my guild i joined about a month ago. They are people just like you and I who enjoy fantasy style game play and if your a nerd there is a strong chance most people in your guild are nerds, so even better. If there elitist assholes you'll find that out quick and just excuse yourself to a different guild. Try to join a couple activities with voip, it makes the game more immersive with other people to blow things up with. Best of luck to you.

I realized this truth early after my return to the game. i kept getting called a bot until i figured my job out. Now i try to do the thief job and think I'm doing just fine until my team is seen fighting in the middle of nowhere and then blame me for not decapping or capping far, or close or pushing home. I feel like its a team game and 1 thief is not going to save 5 others from a loss. People should honestly try to give constructive criticism during the game, its those internet tough guys who yell at the end of match. Dont let the a holes ruin this for you because there are toxic fools in every game we play and at the end of the match you can q for a completely new one. this is not a serious game by any means so let those toxic fuckers have there time and ignore em.

It doesn’t seem like I’m in the minority when it comes to either liking/loving GW2 and Wow at the same time. Thought I was crazy haha. Got shadowlands on preorder yet I’m more excited about a GW2 expansion.

I’ve returned after a long break, a few years actually. Didn’t realize I put in 341 hours of playtime in this game. I have been having a blast again and realize I love this game too.

My main is a human female thief named Dragonhunt. Quite honestly my favorite character in any game I’ve played, I find it to be odd. She looks like a bad ass killing machine that can stealth. Absolutely gorgeous to look at , so I do my best to keep her alive, haha.

I just returned to GW2 this week. I’d hate to see a guild wars 3 ever. They should just expand the universe we’re in. If you look what bungie did with destiny and destiny 2. When you make a sequel to a shared living world you divide the community up. Lots of people will stay on GW2 and few vets will go to Gw3 just to start over. They’d also have to support two games at the same time. I’d say it ain’t going to happen.
