I have a character slot for key farming and I have noticed now that I have to go through the process of typing the name in a pressing delete twice now in order for it to actually delete. is this something intentional to prevent accidental deletions or is mine bugged? It always works the second time but never works the first.

seeing this in echovold today, if I target anything, the border goes away.

This is still not scaling properly. I am usually alone when it comes up and I hit 10 targets in a row with no misses but the 10th shot fills the bar and finishes the event and for some reason it never counts. it needs to be fixed to take more than 10 shots to finish the event.

So when I logged in tonight I was at 42888 ap which I thought was neat because the 888, lucky numbers! Then I finished the 'For the Living not the Dead' achievement in Echovold Wilds which awarded me 1 ap. Then I went and did the aetherblade assault meta event in Seitung Province and at the end the Eternal achievement for that popped up on my screen and appeared to award me 1 ap which I though was odd because I had finished all the ap for that a while ago, but when I checked my AP it had actually dropped by 2 points to 42887. I got a screen shot of the ap leaderboard which had not yet updated and still showed me at 42889. What happened? will I be able to get those 2 points back? I did submit a ticket with the screenshots.

I finished it! it was the very first one that I was missing, go figure lol!

There is an achievement for finding all 9 chambers in the tower of nightmares when the content originally released that I was able to find 8 of the 9. From what I remember and read on the wiki these were randomly occurring instances with different mobs in each one which is what made each one a different chamber to find. Does anyone know if this achievement can still be finished with the new release since they changed how the instance works? thanks!

Please make this work for the pve trinkets anet! I have all the pres sitting in my bank waiting for this change the effect for all of them equipped is awful!

This is not on my account but on my BF account. When he hovers over the map icons to see if theres RI on the objective it shows a lower or no time that what is really there. I can see the correct times fine but his has been bugged for weeks now. When he gets to the objective and selects the boss with RI it shows the correct amount of time on the bosses timer, its just the map icons showing incorrect. it also does not even seem like the time difference is consistent. it varies between 1-2 minutes less than actual time it seems. Any ideas how to fix this? its been going on for a while now, through at least 3 game updates too.

I couldn't waypoint because I was taking constant poison damage but not enough to kill me because healing signet. and yes /stuck did nothing at all. I was just lucky one of my Mesmer friends had the good idea to teleport to me inside the wall to put the portal down. Otherwise I would still be there!

So I was doing the Cathedral of Silence event in cursed shores so I could uncontest the statue communes for map completion. During the fight one of the portals threw me up in the air and inside the wall. The event failed because I was only one doing it and so I was taking poison damage and could not WP or teleport to friend. The poison wouldn't kill me because I was warrior with healing signet. re logging just put me back in the wall. Mesmer friends came and tried to port me out but when I tried to use the portal I got 'no line of sight'. Thought I was stuck there forever...or until someone completed the event. Luckily one of the Mesmer had the good idea of putting their portal down and then teleporting to me inside the wall to put the entrance portal down. That worked and I was able to get out. but that was super annoying, please fix so you cant get thrown up inside the walls there!

yep that what I did, I used 1 sp action break on the bosses and then ran straight to the prism and let everyone else finish breaking.

I think if your special action key does not fully channel before she pulls you back you wont get credit but not sure. I was able to finish mine by just skipping the last break bar phase and waiting at the crystal to hit the sp action key as soon as it came up. Its definitely not good design because when you are in an instance with 80 people its hard to get back to the crystal and fully channel before her meter is full and she pulls you back.

It seems very hard to get this to count towards the achievement. I have tried a few different things and it seems like the cc from the EMP is not counting. When I am on characters that don't have much personal cc I do not get credit even when using the EMP twice if there was time. However if I am on a character with strong personal cc I do get credit. One time I was even downed on my SB when the bar came up and I used my downstate cc and it counted and that was the only cc I hit him with. Please look into this.

so I can now confirm that you HAVE to hit your special action to transfer power to Aurene for the kill to count towards the achievement. This doesn't seem like very good design considering when you are in a full instance if you are a bit slow you wont make it to the crystal in time to even get the special action key....

thanks I will try that next time I run it, everything happens so fast in the public instances though! I have always run to the prism when Aurene calls for help but tbh I don't think I have even noticed getting a special action skill there. I just run up there and then she pulls everyone back

I just did it a 4th time and still sitting at 1/5 or 1/10 however you want to look at it. I made sure to hit each dragon with the special action this time. Still no advancement. All the other achievements are advancing just fine.

I have done dragonstorm meta 3 times now. Once in story mode and twice public, each time on a separate day. My double elder dragon achievement is only at 1/5 though and I am pretty sure that one was when I did it in story mode, but I'm not 100% certain on that. But for sure I have completed the meta 3 times. What am I missing to get credit for this achievement? The 2 times I did it public I did only hit Jormag with the special action skill when we go flying up from the prism. I cant remember if I hit both of them in story mode or not, I was doing the instance with another person.

a couple days ago my computer decided it didnt recognize GW2 anymore out of the blue (I blame windows 10) so I had to remove and reinstall the game. I used arcdps with no problems before, updated when needed and it always worked fine. After the reinstallation arcdps was gone, so I downloaded the d3d9.dll, put it in the bin 64 folder as usual but it will not open in my game. I tried removing it and reinstalling again, still nothing. I do alt+shift+t and just target some random object. I tried alt+shift+h in case it was hidden and it just opens my hero panel. Im not sure what I am missing or why its not working anymore. anyone have any ideas? thanks! edit to add I also use TacO and that is working just fine, I didn't have to reinstall anything for that.

Maybe try raising a bit your toughness or if it doesn't work with another class (and make sure your teammates are lower than you :) Yep someone in my guild said the same thing...so I think I will try adding a toughness infusuion and see if that helps. Thanks! This is helpful! I do have that extra toughness from the pet merge so we tried where I unmerge before the team comes back to the platform with saul and he was still choosing me. I have had a couple people tell me hes supposed to target lowest toughness but thats not working if its true because I have more toughness than the rest of the DPS merged with pet. He will target me if Im merged or not. Will try the LB3 to see if he will de aggro next time we do it. thats a good idea!

how is it bad? if you can hit deimos from far, so you can hit the add from far.adds are targetting the lowest toughness (not sure if hk can be targetted or if he is immuned, so randomly between all or BS if he is in berzerk mode. this is if all are using raid builds, if you team has custom armor stats then its possible that all your teammates have more toughness than you and so he comes to you.not sure I understand everything though, from what i get you're black kite as Slb? It was the restored boreal weapons that caused all the uproar that they were needed to make the next set and many people had deleted them. Then they put the notice in red letters in the description of the next weapon set (I forget the name) that they would be needed to craft the next set of weapons...and then changed their mind that they would not be needed after all! Makes me think that they just decided against having people hold on to crafted story sets for new story sets to avoid confusion.
