Also it ALWAYS happens AFTER i do all the hard work and beat them, then at the end usually at a cutscene boom, that error code and i have to re do the entire mission. 1 time is fine, but its been about 30 times in my 150 hours ive put in this month and i have the screen shots to prove it. I did submit a ticket but idk if they will fix it it seems to have been an issue forever.

i get this error every time i do a long boss fight in an instance. Every time i get to a big boss, i know im gonna be doing it 4-5 times and im tired of it. Seriously

i tried to install it, but i get a "the code execution cannot proceed because vcruntime140_.dll was not found' error

ITS NEVER some short mission its always a long mission with a long boss fight. ALWAYS AT THE END FML

how is this still a problem all these years later. Ive had an extra 5-6 hours tacked onto my playtime due to this problem and me having to do LONG MISSIONS tw0 times, 3 or even 4 times. Im done

I am also new, but ive clocked around 100 hours in the last week and a half so i know a decent amount to help a nooby out, add me if you want to quest

Whats most irritating is that it ALWAYS is at the end of the instanced quest, it never happens at the start or middle its always at the very end

Ive tried several "fixes" no luck, still happens. I dont have any antivirus installed, i even turn my firewall off to prevent issues with the connection

DX12 prxy stopped working too the game wont launch at all unless i uninstall it. Tried reinstalling it, but it just keeps happening. Great so ive gotta deal with 14 fps with a rx 5700xt

i had to uninstall dx 12 and remove it to get the game to launch

The point is having an outlet that reaches potential buyers that would not notice or try the game otherwise. I doubt the 30% Valve "tax" is what's keeping Anet away - There are some other overhead and possibly restrictions involved that Anet feels the deal is not worth it.Thinking that people will just go to this site, create an account and download/buy an 8 year old game on a whim (without recommendations)? Not much profit in that illusion :-)Sure - It's not like there is a MMO-shortage on Steam and that might have been one of the factors that made Anet decide against it.(Oh - And for "Hefty chunks of profit": Do you really think Amazon etc. sold GW2 and gem-cards at cost?) And my point is valave takes too much of the profit. This game doesnt need steam

It isnt my internet, nothing else goes out. And this ALWAYS happens after a long fight or quest inside an instance. This has happened abut 10 times, and its really irritating to deal with.

As a new player, as far as content its a mixed bag. What i mean is ive enjoyed everything ive done so far. The starter stuff was great, POF i did first and i was reallly loving it.... the maps of HOT are very confusing but as i learn them i appreciate them, i feel like they are really creative. I love how diverse the game is

If a system like that is implemented.... i hate to be that guy, but thats a sure way to get me to uninstall this game and never play it or pay $ for anything again.

I dont see the point. Valve takes a hefty chunk of the profits. Id rather arena net get all the money if i chose to buy a skin or something rather than valve taking it.

I love all the huge world events. I should have stayed off the forum, peoples negativity is getting me down.

wait until you reach orr and the expansions. its almost a completely different game. if you really like the casual experience of core tyria, then you prolly wont like it therei loved the organic, low key feel of the lower levels, it was so natural...fighting normal enemies over outposts and forts...it felt REALthe later stuff is all about gods and doomsday scenarios, that gets boring VERY fast Well i finished PoF story and did a ton of content and now im almost done with Thorns and ive been participating in all the meta events in both and world activities and im loving it. I love the set up of the game and all the things to do. Ive played every mmo out there, im not authority but this one gets it right to me, i enjoy all of these things. Im not sure why people continue playing games they dont find fun? I feel like the way they handle this is great, most mmo's i skip all this stuff but here i find myself enjoying all the activiteis in each map and learning all the maps and cool locations. I guess it all just makes sense to me.

Doing all the events in the different areas and exploring was part of the fun. Im not sure why people have an issue with actually playing the game.

Im brand new. It took me like 2 or 3 days playing like 6 hours a day to get to level 40. Thats fast and at no time did i feel like this was over the top grinding.
