I voted "very good" because I don't have any special expectations.

I didnt read much of the original post because the suggestion alone is asking a lot after almost 20 years of the GW franchise operating without a sub. I believe this game has established itself based on its current model and that is one of its attracting qualities. I think all this does is form a huge disconnect that could possibly sink the game. My wife and I would stop playing.

That's over $500.00 a month every month for 12 years. Not that I am doubting you but, it does beg the question....on what? I ask because I am genuinely interested because it even seems like a really high amount even if you have multiple accounts.

I get what you're suggesting. But, you can't possibly believe that what you said was so earth shattering that "someone" would take the time to follow you around and emote all your posts. 🤦‍♂️

While I don't agree with the sentiment of saddened fatigue and disinterest - I do agree that content has been recycled but, at the same time this is nothing new. That said, I can appreciate your criticism aimed at the confused faces. The game is not without its flaws, for sure.

That's a little hypocritical... I'm not sure if you're being self-conscious or you actually believe - "the dialog is extremely boring. The devs have learned nothing. Refund" - is meaningful.

Personally, I think the devs have learned a lot. Remember, nobody is perfect and the GW team works hard to provide the best experience they can for new players, as well as working hard to keep tenured players interested. The complaints about story dialog warrant the solution of a skip button but, it's not worth insulting the devs and this community by over-exaggerating how boring it is while many players are excited by this new content, and it's sad to see disappointment expressed in refund announcements while many players are eager to purchase and enjoy Janthir. I know there are a lot of posts criticizing how some players choose to issue their complaints but, it's not enough to say that there are other games to play and announcing a complaint without any constructive feedback is just trolling this community with toxic nonsense. Why people choose to play a game they ultimately hate and feel the need to announce it to all of us in black and white will never make sense to me. You know the old saying - if you don't like what's on the radio, then change the channel and quit complaining about it. This forum had a period where if something was wrong we could discuss it intellectually with maturity - those were the days.... Either way, I am inspired by this new content. I once commented in a post about what players would regret most if GW2 shutdown tomorrow and my answer was that I never got to share this game with someone I loved. Now that my wife has started playing and is inspired and excited to play together that had changed. So far, we feel like Janthir is a return to form for GW2 and we can't wait to adventure more in these maps. The Devs have learned and have applied that knowledge well this go around...Well Done!!

I dont think a skip option is a bad idea but, complaining that the game needs less story doesn't represent all players. Personally, I think it's kind of insulting toward the devs and the community how some of these complaints are presented. They're more toxic than constructive. I liked the story so far, and while the OP suggests the devs have learned nothing, for me it appears that they have at least elevated in the quality of their story telling.

Right, because there are no vistas, points of interest, or waypoints??? Yes - it is. I see posts on FB all the time about "play your way". Forcing players to play content for things they want doesnt sound like "play your way" I swear - it only takes engaging with like two people here before I remember that these once awesome forums are now only kin to Steam at best...
