  1. I've been a Necro main since I started playing and I regularly switch between Reaper and Scourge because I love what they've done to the class with it. I'm worried now that I won't have the same fun with Harbinger. 1. All our defense through shroud has been removed & we get drastically reduced health because of blight yet we aren't being given near enough active defenses and mobilty to make up for it and yet our best position is up close on enemies. 2. The elixir skills icons. Please, please, please, have these reworked, I am begging you. They look terrible and low effort. 3. The traits are so boring and don't allow any build diversity whatsoever. Like, none. I would suggest reworking the power line since we already have Reaper as a power class (but still allow Harbinger to function as an okay power DPS class for those that would like it). Maybe rework the traits to make it so that pistol skills give might on hit instead of applying conditions or just do extra damage based on distance or blight stacks? Idk. Just something
  2. Condi Mirage is great because you pretty much always have clones up to distract enemies, GREAT mobility, and the Mirage Cloak instead of dodge means you can "dodge" while casting skills or CC'd. You don't get the upfront burst but, if you're playing it right, you should still kill pretty quickly and be able to avoid most of the damage. What gear stat are you using? I was using Dire armor with Ascended Trailblazer Accessories/Earrings/Backpack + Rabid weapons. I didn't want to break the bank crafting Trailblazer armor before I gave the build a run, and I'm glad I didn't.That makes sense then - that armour is okay-ish for getting into Condi Mirage but otherwise it should be gotten rid of as soon as possible. Trailblazer itself is tank armour so you're going to kill things incredibly slow. I run Viper with my condi mirage since I'm pretty confident in my ability to keep myself alive with dodging and avoiding hits and it's pretty easy to melt mobs. I burst a few seconds slower than my zerker chrono build but I'm much better in sustained fights

  4. Seriously - finishing up a long instance only to be disconnected and having to restart right from the beginning is just beyond frustrating.
  5. Just like the title says, I'm curious what other people are running for their OW builds on Mesmer. I was trying Sword + Sword & GS Power Mesmer which was great because everything died pretty quickly. Was still dying here and there, though, so I switched to Condi Mirage (Staff & Axe + Pistol/Torch) and I'm having so much fun. I love the Mirage dodge mechanics and, while I don't kill things just as fast in one hit, I still kill trash mobs pretty quickly and I find I can now solo a lot of champions which I haven't been able to do on other classes (I suck at the game, fwiw). So what are you playing with?
  6. Having a "totem" healer where you summon clones/phantasms that heal allies on attack or give buffs while shattering them to provide stronger effects would be great. Something to introduce more variety to main healer being pretty much exclusively (as far as I'm aware?) druid.
  7. If you've got the expansions and living stories, I would definitely recommend completing all of those first so you know what's happening in the world. For Path of Fire, you the following mounts just by doing story: Raptor - large jumping distance, great for traversing ground-based gapsSpringer - can jump very highSkimmer - can fly over water (and slow descent if jumping off a high place) and also be used underwater after upgrading masteriesJackal - ground-based mount that can teleport through sand portals (used in Path of Fire maps) Most jumping puzzles don't allow gliding (HoT) or mounts (PoF) around them so as to not trivialize them but some do so they've become a lot easier. Masteries - I could be wrong but I'd focus on the below. The masteries you earn XP towards are based on which map you're running inCore Map Mastery: Pact CommanderHoT Map Mastery: GlidingPoF Map Mastery: Whichever mount you like best Maurauder gear was introduced in the expansions and it's definitely worth getting for Open World for survival. Berserker will be find but you have less room for error when fighting stronger mobs.

  9. I love Mesmer and their elite specs in regards to aesthetic and base usage. I'm really hoping that ANet can live up to the original glory days that mesmer used to have when the next big balance patch hits
  10. Running around on my condi Mirage, staff allows for amazing Open World soloing (most of what I spend my time doing). Sure, the DPS is much, much lower than most other weapons but that doesn't matter all too much when I can have a really relaxing near-guarantee for all solo content.
