QoL on new FB mantras is abyssmal. In WvW, you have people screaming every few minutes, CHARGE YOUR MANTRAS!! No logical person likes the change. Yes it was brain-dead gameplay after the initial change, but reverting to this is worse, and has put a lot of people off playing FB. FB was a class that people were already feeling was a jail cell BEFORE this QoL nerf - this opinion held by pve-ers and wvw-ers mind you. Can we at least make the charging meaningful? Something like cast -> cast -> long cast for final charge (with the chanting to appease the RP crowd because clearly that's something they all love). and then however long a reasonable CD should be because the FB needs to take a sip of water or something. In its present state, the final charge isn't even strong enough to justify the cool down it gets put into along with the charging time.

Bumping for visibility and also I just returned to this game a week ago. Been trying to find the Koda trial version of this patrol to no avail. Any clarity on whether there are specific conditions to be met to pop this event? Like is there a quest chain to complete? Is there a meta to complete?

I have to assume you're not using the LFG tool and a timer site, because I play in Australian time and never have trouble getting a group for the Istan meta. I'd have to be pretty foolish to overlook the LFG tool and then complain here. I'm in UTC+8 right now, and really the window of opportunity for NA prime and Aus Prime is tiny. There are one maybe 2 trains tops, and then the LFG dies after. You should check out how dead it is right now, in the middle of the day for this timezone. I even got up early today to try to catch post reset trains. NADA -sigh-

While I understand that a single map shouldn’t be the focus of one’s gameplay, the approach they took with palawadan was too heavy handed. It also doesn’t help that you need a buttload of istan’s map currency for vision. On a side note; honest question: how difficult would it be to implement diminishing returns to palawadan’s chests? Maybe provide a single of each reward, compared to the 3 – 4 (just spitballing here, idk what the exact amount is) received at reset? This would at least give players a small sense of satisfaction, and more importantly not limit gameplay to the hour post reset when the meta trains run.

Anet really shouldn't have removed the palawadan chests. If you play outside of NA prime, you'll be lucky to even get past the 2 gate guardians :(
