Can anyone tell me how to do this step by step? I tried to create a new line in the ini file but having no luck. Still stuck with the modifier keys alt + shift. Any help would be appreciated.

Why should I bother taking ranked seriously with all this happening. Why do people get a kick out of ruining the experience for everyone else?

I've been thinking about this and the requirements are quite casual. The current system discourages people from playing games, which causes them to camp their rating or play on alts. I would change is increasing the required number of games played to 20-25 and increase season length. A longer season would increase the required number of games and for those that can't be bother to log in past the 120 mark would not be able to qualify for the leaderboards.

ArenaNet and others may be wondering why the backlash got to this scale. The issue is that there are many areas currently lacking in the game, especially on the rewards side and the release of mount adoption only served to compound these issues. As the ratio of cosmetics obtainable in-game compared to the gemstore becomes increasingly skewed, people are becoming more aware of what is going on and are beginning to draw a line.

To be honest folks, this ship has already sailed and in Anet's financial eyes this release was a success. I mean just look at the gems-to-gold prices after yesterday and how many people already have these skins in game. What can they do at this point if they remove the RNG they would have to offer refunds to a lot of people. If they want to regain the trust of their customers again, they have to release the next set of skins to be obtainable in game and not the gemstore. It's quite sad because of all the positive rep they built with the expansion release is pretty much gone due to this PR nightmare.
