  1. There I fixed your post. It wasn't made to be used that way. I get pulled into zergs all the time. Most tines I am able to pop distortion and teleport away. Sometimes not so much. But pulls were made for that. This is funny. I'd never cheat or use any exploit in a game because outside the game, I do not have the insecurities or inadequacies that would force me to find ways to make up for it. Lol I'd never cheat or exploit to feel good by making someone else upset. Lol
  2. Ummmm hahahaha I find it funny how people try to justify exploiting. Like I wrote above. It wasn't made to be used that way. I get pulled into zergs all the time. Most tines I am able to pop distortion and teleport away. Sometimes not so much. But pulls were made for that.

  4. 😆 🤣 😂 The one wholly true thing you will say/write today Sure. Let us pretend. Everyone has reflects available at all times just in case someone is going to exploit pull. Hills Keep. West Cata Wall. The area people fight on (outside the wall) is fairly narrow. Two groups going at it. By your thought pattern, every member of the attacking force will be watching explicitly for an enemy to run to the cliff to do a jump pull, and have a finger hovering over a reflect skill. Or the moment a defender who may have a pull ability runs to the cliff edge all the attackers scatter to over 1200 range from that person? You argument is both funny and holds no water.
  5. I am hoping the auto shot will be a single target, single shot, no pierce damage. I do not like the greatsword 3×damage over time. I just want the damage instantly. That sort of auto shot will be high damage.
  6. Are you really trying to defend "Exploitation" by saying it takes time to learn to do it properly? So exploiting is ok as long as there is a difficult learning curve. Gotcha. And the "standing at the wrong place " means anywhere in range. 1200 range pull means anywhere in 1200 range.
  7. I am tired of seeing all the exploit pulls. Like people jumping off cliffs then activating pulls while they glide. And pulls that grab somehow go over 1200 range, pulling people up stairs and over walls.
  8. That made me laugh. But it is true. If someone doesn't cleanse then they take okay damage, but because people generally cleanse quite rapidly, the damage we do with conditions is not even remotely close to what a power build can do over time. I always come across someone who runs multiple cleanses. Like 2 days ago. 2 of us had a failed attempt at the enemy NC (Alpine bl).... The same three people kept fighting two of us where they'd die, respawn, and come out again. At one point the guards all respawned, so my ally died and I ran. There was a Mirage who I had killed twice came after me (relentlessly) and he had changed his build to run more cleansing. It was a "Tough As Hell" fight as he kept cleansing over and over. Every shatter cleansed a condition. I barely won. I didn't think I was going to. But by comparison, the condition damage he took was miniscule compared to the power damage I had to deal with. Leave conditions alone.
  9. Odd... if I had no issue fighting against conditions on my thief (retired) my scrapper (retired) and my mesmer (all three builds I play) .... Then why are you having issues? If you do not like conditions then fix your build.
  10. I soloed every 10 hero point challenge with a core mesmer. I used that "Rabid" gear. (condition precision toughness) Staff. ---- Scepter/Torch. I think I ran chaos, Illusions, inspiration.... but definitely ran Illusions for the trait "Malicious Sorcery ". The quicker attack speed using scepter helps with clone production... and the reduced recharge on scepter skills is a total life saver when it comes to soloing crazy hard content. You scepter #2 block for the torment and scepter #3 for confusion. You have a higher frequency of use. I ran tormenting runes. Sigils of torment because of the precision on Rabid Gear. I was pleased with how good it was.... and like I mentioned.... I soloed every 10 hero point challenge in the game with the build.
  11. Lol We all know you do not play virtuoso. You are probably someone I obliterated because they thought I couldn't handle an in close super aggressive melee. But surprise I am built for it. Don't nerf me cause I am that good. You should Just become better. But you vs 5.... never unless it was 1 afk player amongst 4 guards... not in this life. 2 decent willbenders would annihilate you , let alone 5 pugs. I know virt inside and out. I literally obliterate any I come across these days.
  12. I think maybe we have a different definition of "1 Shot". I currently run a condition virtuoso and have gotten up to 32 stacks of confusion on an enemy. An ele, if it didn't cleanse would need to perform 2 actions to (potentially) go down. I call that a two shot no matter how fast they performed the actions. I know some folks consider a fast weapon rotation a "1 shot". Like even 2 attacks in 1 second. That 32stacks degrades super super super fast, but once I got a scrapper with it and he performed 2 actions before he hit the downed state. kitten it was funny.
  13. 1v5? No. This statement tells me you do not play virtuoso. Maybe tried it, but no. You did not play virtuoso to any extent amd are just repeating what you saw elsewhere. The heal is from the defender runes has a 1 second cooldown which is is great, but against 5 people you are only getting one block on one attack. Then it takes time to fire your blades in order to get another aegis, but while that is happening you have 5 enemies continually hearing you with damage. Your F1 is a 3/4second vast... F2-F3 1/2 second casts.. F4 and F5 have no cast time... but then you have to look at the cooldowns on those abilities. Even if you run heal on shatter and heal on blade generation, it is not even remotely close enough to what you'd need to counter the damage output of 5 different individuals..... For the damage you are hinting at, you would be running "Dueling" for the "superiority " trait and "Domination " for the "Mental Anguish " which means no healing traits. Spectacular damage... but no real healing. 1vs1 or 1vs2 I bet you'd be scary as hell with your build but vs 5... no. Sorry. Not happening. You just don't have the healing or defensive capabilities to do it (amd I am adding energy sigils as well)
  14. 2vs1 then. Well sure. 2 people can coordinate to down someone insanely fast. But even with the 20%damage boost, unless someone has a low hitpoint base and no armor/toughness, then no. No one shotting anyone will occur. Close to perhaps... but actuality.. no
  15. Well...rofl You basically said if a virtuoso builds for it, then the virt can put someone in a downed state by using multiple weapon damaging skills. Well hahaha yeah. But by burst? No. Not unless you are fighting someone who is a complete novice amd has no idea how to run any defense. Yep. I agree. Anyone class built for it can do that. I've never seen a 10k+ F1 hit Eeeeever. But if someone builds for it, then I do not see why not...... But it still does not match the dps ranger burst nor that warrior thing that has hit me for 19k and change in one shot.
  16. Sadly, I have reported before "with"physical proof and nothing was done. There was one hackazoid I deliberately fought 3 times to get the evidence to give anet. I even put that person on my friends list to see if anything would occur...and almost every day he'd be back in wvw. So I lost faith. I posted my post though as a means to show that people are brazen enough to openly cheat because there really are no repercussions. That particular guild has been around for quite a while and even with many witnesses, still went ahead and cheated. That is some pretty extreme confidence that they will not face repercussions from those in charge.
  17. I had a long night of work so I will respond later.... but by what you wrote, I would say your experience of mesmer is more anecdotal via open world but not anything related to pvp/wvw.
  18. (1) I never said he did it, but he is 100% taking advantage of it. (2) I haven't seen any indication that people have made it appear like ele has been OP since launch. (3) I've never had an issue killing Fb or scourge with any of the three classes I have used for wvw. Thief was the most fun... incredibly quick work. (a) Scorpion wire to pull them to me. (b) Shadow Strike (I traited poison on dual wield) (c) Repeater from the Shadow Strike. (d) Scorpion Wire (e) Shadow Strike (f) Repeater (g) Scourge is now dead. Guaranteed win every time.
  19. Or in a zerg where all they have to do is mist to the back lines to be revived. We have seen this so many times. Totally bogus that a profession played by a developer has an op "get out of death free" ability.
  20. This never crossed my mind, but now that I see it... I want it. I have been running condi more often in wvw and enjoy it. If rifle was condi though.... it would need to have a faster projectile than the staff.
  21. It has always been manageable to fight. I have never had an issue fighting a Virtuoso whether on my non stealth thief, my Glass engineer, nor my own Virtuoso. If I fight and kill them well enough on 3 different toons then the issue is "YOU" not knowing how to play on 1 toon against a particular class. Learn to play and stop calling for nerfs. (1) There is no defense bloat. Virt does not have the cleaves as other professions do. Not even close. That's why it needs defensive abilities. Especially against thieves. The massively overpowered stealth mechanics makes a Virtuoso defense capabilities almost useless. Or a grenade engineer. The #1 auto attack can even be thrown behind the engi as it is running away. A Virtuoso cannot do anything like that and has to face the target. Every bladesong also has cooldowns. Very easy to work around that. Here is something I did. Virt fires off blades. I may or may not evade/block depending how aggressive or not aggressive I am playing. I use an auto attack to knock down the aegis. Then something hard hitting. It is rather simple. I can do it on 3 toons. You should be able to do it on 1. If the virt rapid fires all their blades then that is game over for them. They still have to stock blades. Remember that. But the issue is people not knowing how to fight so calling for nerfs. How about we nerf the 20plus seconds an ele can get for protection. How about we nerf all the weapon abilities that allow someone to close or escape fights via charging? How about we nerf the insane stealth thief classes have? Virtuoso has nothing in comparison so why take away its survival mechanics just because you cannot figure out how to fight one? But like I said... I can kill them on 3 toons. Why can't you do it with just one?
  22. How was that the right call? In wvw we see everything with the abilities to have countless evades/invulns/blocks except mesmer. I made a druid to check it out... even my #1and #2 sword weapon skills are usable for escaping.... then the Staff #3 (is it 3 or 4?) is basically an escape reverse charge + heal. That block on F5 was nothing in compared to the other profession skills. Sure you can block, but you are still moving regular combat speed and not going to be able to leap/stealth/teleport/charge away like almost everything else can.
  23. I fought this 2 days ago SE camp on blu BL. Harbinger. He could take massive strike and condi damage while his health bar would jump with some 10k+barrier the moment I hit him. I was checking my combat log to see what the guy was hitting me with and my combat log showed me getting hit by both Ranger and Harbinger attacks. There was no ranger anywhere unless it was underground, but the wvw ranking was also the same.
  24. And as I was writing this they had exploited to get a mesmer inside our t3 garrison, who then teleported the rest of them onto the outer walls... almost right on top of me. Not a single outer wall down one at 45% but the enemy is inside. And sadly no. They never had anyone hiding inside. They had a failed attempt at outer water gate, a failed attempt at the NW wall.. then exploit for the win. Dark Haven Alpine BL Garrison now belongs to the red borderlands under that guilds name. Good job Anet. This is exactly how you tell the honest players what you really think of the. A whole guild. Literally a whole guild cheating to win.
  25. I was trying the elite attack golem just for the fun of it. I was on my mount. No one was around me. I use auto run and constantly pan the camera. Then suddenly this spellbreaker appears behind me and throws the spear. To dismount me. I am beating him easily enough. He has maybe 10% health left. Way off in the distance I can make out 2 shapes moving super fast... speed hacking. My graphics are on max distance and they cleared that distance in mere seconds. Those two shapes are on me when almost instantly then 2 more suddenly appear. Same guild. Like the TV show. "Something and Stimpy". But change "something" to the real name. Gets tedious watching a full guild with hackers get away with it. If anet doesn't stop it, then they support it. And if the bald headed spellbreaker reads this. I've beaten you every 1v1 but you always call in speed hackers. I know it. You know it and calling in speed hackers will never change the fact I am better than you and it is eating you up inside. Lolol
