Specifically in PVP and WvW

My ticket is also still open. ticket hit 14days old today. Kinda sad that it takes 2 weeks for the issues to get resolved, but im guessing they are overloaded. I keep updating the ticket requesting an update, but as of today its been almost a week since Ive had any info on the progress of the ticket.

I have to disagree with the "unfun to play against topic". Power mesmer is useless in almost every aspect. No1 is scared to go against a power memser because of how shit it is. All out burst and sustain is funneled into our clones/ illusion. trying to be confusing so that opponents cannot tell the difference between us an them. But its completely uselss since damn near every other class has a ton of aoe dmgg skills that make out clones go bye bye almost immediatley on summon. then your sitting there tickling the opponent with greatsword 1 or running away.

The balance for mesmer is 100% atrocious. I mean wtf is the point of desperate Decoy? You get stealth! Cool. no blind, no evade nothing. Damn near every other class has somehting that gives them at least 1 lifesaver on passive traits, we get a stealth. At least put a blind or stun break on it. Hell its not even worth running, becasue any player that is in melee mode will continue swinging as soon as you hit stealth, or any condi on you that bombs you will just continue ticking, or if your stunned, it doesnt matter becasue you will still be cc'ed by the time the stealth ends. Not to mention every other class has reveals on it which makes it a pointless skill. Like at least make it work like Decoy maybe? idk im toxic AF becasue they made my class unplayable in pvp. Now im left roaming in WVW in full glass cannon setup, running 3 stealth skills on Core mesmer with every single point speced into damage, because without that kitten does no damage. Stealth up, try an nuke, fail 90% of the time because every ranger runs lesser stone signet passive, every warrior runs the invulnerable pasive (forget the name) thiefs all run free dodge passive, and so you hvae to tp and run away and try again once cooldowns are up. Theres no point in trying to take straight fights in pvp as a mesmer. All your burst is loaded into greatsword spike damge, and its the easiest thing to play against as long as you dont blow cooldowns. Meanwhile most other classes can nuke and sustain through that shit no problem. And no, im not crying because "get Gudt". I know im not a top player, but for the love of god why are we forced to play extra hard for mediocre results. A braineded Condi mirage, or a brainded warrior can still output Decent damage and sustain, and while I could beat such players in duels as mesmer I have to work retardedly hard to get the same results. Versus me just swapping off my main to a ranger and feeling borderline unbeatable to the average joe running around. PS: Give us a power Dual Dagger Mesmer Elite spec next. get rid of clone all together and make daggers a mid range power damge tree.

Fine for Pve and Open world, total garbage for PvP or WvW Because this site is for PvE only maybe? ..Specifically talkong about PVP and WVW. PVE is fine in raids becasue you dont need to take any utility. problem is to have any decent damage/ sustain in pvp you need to work stupidly hard for mediocre results

Condi mirage is so retarded, i literaly played condi mirage in berzerker gears and still nuked poeple in 1v1. but tickle them in zerker gear with a power build. How dumb

i find i have to hold my burst in fights and try to get pressure from teamies. I wont even lie about it, i struggle to 1v1 against most classes at this point because i cant apply constant pressure anymore as power, and when I burst, if I miss calculate, the enemies are usualy left with juust enough hp to heal up in which case I have to disengage and reset.Its not the end of the world in duels/roaming, but in pvp thats a good few seconds or minutes gone because the current gamemode is based around being able to bunker down for ages.surely people get bored of just running guardians/necros/tempests that do no damage and just tank all day long??But as I said, maybe im just bad at this. SMH

Returned to the game after a break about 3 weeks ago, and have been trying to get back into the game. Mesmer main for past 5 years and its so unenjoyable in pvp/wvw. Short of playing condi mirage cancer and in pve, Power mesmers are absolute garbage. Thought it was a case of "get gud", but after spending roughly a week on each spec (core/chrono/mirage) trying to "get gud" I've come to the realisation that power mesmers are unplayable. Sure you might get a decent spike on a thief from time to time if you catch him, but even then... lllanding your full damage combo to get 50-70% dmg on the target requires you to spec fulll glass cannon with 0 utility and survivablity to do that kinda damage. meanwhile all other classes are allowed to maintain their sustain and damage with reasonable trade offs. Theres just no way to keep decent pressure up on a power mesmer, and also not enough spike damage to nuke poepel. Its actually disgusting. Im guessing Arena Net, got alot of flack from poeplle running condi mirage, but rather than balancing the class appropriately where the problem was (in the condi burst) they nuked the spec as a whole and now we cant do any viable builds? PS. sorry for the rant. Just saddened by the state of the game like this. Sure could respec to another class, but feeling forced into condi or changing classes all together feels really shit in an mmo since build diversity should be encourage. Hopefull the next expansion could bring power mesmers back.

Hi, I am returning to GW2 after a year away from the game.I have experience in all wings except 5 and 6. (never attempted them for some reason) I Quit the game shortly after the release of wing 7, but did wing 7 a few times.My main class is diviners boon chrono, but i can also fill in with heal scourge, banner slave warrior, condi dps weaver and power dps soulbeast. (All in full ascended)I am currently working on bringing my gears up to date as needed, but really need an active and friendly guild that I can join raids with that will have some patience for a returning player.

Hi all.So I've been playing gw2 for the past 4 years, but never really played with others. My friends all left the game about a week after we joined the game, but I continued playing solo for the last few years, mostly doing solo PvP/WvW and some random pug fractals/raids on occasion.Ive been part of a couple guilds since I started, but none of them really felt like a guild. I never ran guild missions with them or raids etc, So the game still felt solo.Im now looking to get into raids and higher level fractals, but mostly looking for an active friendly guild. preferably one that isn't too big. MAP: Amazing, Love the environment, the lack of Waypoints doesnt even bother me that much, since Im having a blast on the mounts.Story: Actually enjoying it, unlike HOT which i just kinda grinded through to get it done.Elite Specs: Not sure, I only tried Mirage and although its dps is subpar and offers virtually no group support, I still enjoy the whole feel of it. maybe Im just too casual in this game to care about dps, but im having fun none the less. Complaints:Lack of means to gain new stats, and incomplete item discriptions is kinda disappointing, and speaks bad on the carelessness of ANet. sure most of us know what an inscription is, so we kinda just have a good idea of how to get some of the newer stat items, but too new people its an absolute nightmare.Really hate to bring it up again, but how is it WvW and PvP players can get Grievers gear with basically no effort if they sat on their tokens from their game mode, but the players like myself who are not great at either game mode, who just casualy enjoys the game, we cant get grievers whatsoever at this point. no inscriptions or anything with this regards, other than grinding and doing achievements to get exotic variants? just kinda annoying. But all in all still having and absolute blast.
