  1. My understanding, and ideas/thoughts on this new path to PVE legendary armor has come to these terms: - In Its' current status - It's looking to be heavily committed to only the expansion and related maps, whether current or future. Thought: I find this to be a set up for another trudge through the Surmia Tar Pits straight to a Searing Burnout. As with the release, we are grinding heavily on only 2 maps. I wouldn't put it past many players already nearing the current "brick wall" of progress to finish all the prerequisites, if not very soon. - I know this suggestion coming would probably be an oddity to implement, but I think it's still quite feasible given thought to all the "Current Status and Present Lore" of the World of Tyria. TL:DR Main theme: I suggest implement Static, guaranteed item drop and/or progress from other PvE areas, and refine the craft cost to rift hunts. Idea: I would hope that the expansion maps only grind ends with the current investments to the final product, and future additions or reworks input a broader investment, Such as the Open World areas that are featured as "Fractals" in one of the new maps. Implement those "real" open world zones to be a true part of the building process. Since you've already used the word, Fractal, in the new expansion. Implement the whole of Existing and Future Fractals of the Mists to give progress. This should return traffic to an area that already has lots of commitment to give to it, provide an incentive reward to invest in those dailies, game type, team building strategies/builds/etc. And we all know that Raids are out, and Strikes are In, so they should definitely have some say in the matter. - The "Precursor" required collection relies on a player completing the SooO Storyline completely, along with unlocking the thematic armor, Astral Ward set(s). Thought: I think this is a pretty good start to the overall unlocking process. You have your "New World" starting point with storyline. The Story unlocks the collections and shows you the next steps over time. You have to unlock the Story Thematic armor to progress. Idea: The current investment process seems too heavily focused on Rift hunting, and crafting or buying higher tier motivations which also are required for the grind. Material costs on Crafting the motivations should be refined in a manner that makes material investments worthwhile, or more fruitful, and less disruptive to progress. Possibly even removing the lower tier investment into the higher tiers craft recipe, and just giving a static increase may do the trick. My Reasoning: The dulling of the will to keep doing this mostly stems from the cost to craft the Tier 2 and 3 motivations, without enough return of investment to continue crafting the required material to open said rifts, AND still have a steady progress boosting my supply. This definitely comes back to forcing players to grind Tier 1 with or without motivations, and/or spend a ridiculous current gold price from TP. The materials alone to make Common is already diving into a hefty cost, let alone using almost all the same materials doubled in the next level, plus the common item to boot.
  2. Can we get Usable skins stashed and stacked inside the wardrobe, instead of fill up our inventory or bank storage? When we add a skin to wardrobe, the free usable should stack inside too, instead of use a transmutation the first time when we leave the skin somewhere on another toon or bank tab.
  3. QoL Alterations - Teleport Scrolls can be used while Defeated. Mystic Forge recipe or "CHEAP" purchaseable Legendary Tome of (Yakkington, Sandford, The Traveler, or The Wayfarer) that, at completion, combines all known and available HoT, PoF, Living World Maps, Cities, Special or Unique Locations (including Mistlock, Bastion, etc) and can uniquely add future ones directly to the tome upon acquisition. The Novelty Item - Embiggening Tonic, can be used while Transformed (such as when player is an Asura, Charr, or Dolphin in Fractals) Creation of Crafting Material storage space for ALL items (including Trophies) that are required parts of a craft or Mystic Forge recipe, especially the Legendary Armors/Weapons/Runes/Sigils/Collections The Tackle Box - The Fishing Equivalent of the Wallet.. Storing ALL your baits that literally take up a 32 slot bag. The Keychain - Too many chests requiring all these keys to force my bags to carry them. Put 'em on the chain!
  4. 4-part Dyeable Boneskinner Mount for Jackal/Warclaw - My Necro deserves to ride into battle on the proper Steed! 5. I guess I need more clarity on this as well. As I read it, It sounds like an Alliance would be made up with the entirety of 2 or more guilds. This occurrence is also locked to a 500 member capacity. In my mind, meaning that if 2 large guilds had 300+ members up to the full 500.. they could not form an alliance! Only smaller guilds with both having 250 or less members would benefit. The guild I lead on Fort Aspenwood typically has 400+ members in it, and we have an "Alliance" with another guild of 400+ , with 3 other guilds (pop. 100-500 each) interested in committing to the alliance too! I surely hope this is not the case, and that the end result of the Alliance system matches that of GW1. In which, you could have the full guild capacity with up to a certain number of guilds. 10 guilds, 1000 players was the GW1 limitation. GW2 has 5 guild slots per person with up to 500 players per guild. 5 guild, 2500 Member capacity sounds to me like the only right and proper limit. Now if Alliances were formed in another matter, for instance: Alliance can hold 5-10 guilds. Each guild leader and/or officer can select up to XXX amount of players from their own guild to become a "WvW Alliance Member". If we have 10 guilds, 150-250 players seems sufficient. if we have 5 guilds, 250-500 players seems right. The full amount of numbers of course would hardly ever be in the same instance at once. Trying to get more than 50 people herded into any map is a challenge in and of itself. (QoL: Make all map instances and queues have clear population amount/limit perhaps, and/or raise the limit by 50-100 (general maps) and up 200+ for WvW maps?) This would however, allow many groups of players within the alliance to participate at varying time and time zones and still represent the Alliance!
  6. Inside of the Isle of Reflection Guild Hall, there seems to be many areas of Land, Sea, and Air that are impossible to reach. And all within the borders of the Map Instance area. For instance, there are a few landmasses with wide open, green land..and even tree or two that are invisibly walled off. There are areas of water well within the map area, that make no sense of the boundary that is several thousand range away. There's cliffs, caves, and summits that cannot be touched by any means.. even though they are absolutely low enough, have flat footing, and in some ways would make fun little jump puzzle additions. Can we possibly have these series of limitations found on this map changed with a few solutions? For one, this drastically inhibits players that thrive at Decorating the Guilds with their creativity! There is a huge amount of space made available of the guild maps that allow for near limitless creation potential using the full range of the borders, such as: Race tracks, Jump Puzzles, Decorative Art, Theme creation, Secret Huts/Hideouts, and more! My suggestion is to allow much more access to the areas of the Isle of Reflection map, including some or all of: Landmass, Caves, Open Water, Inside Buildings, Sky/Base level...with a similar matching to other halls, such as Windswept Haven & Gilded Hollow.
  7. Greetings Gods and Mortals of Tyria. This is a pledge to honoring a great man who has spent his lifetime making a part of the Guild Wars, and Guild Wars 2 community a wonderful place to be. You may inquire about RandAlThor.8593, known as Lord Randal Thor, Guild Leader of Storm Dragon Slayers [SDS]. John passed away on November 29th, 2021 due to kitten. He loved Guild Wars, and favored playing a Ranger. His favorite armor was Medium Rubicon Armor for 90% of the game. We are hosting an in guild Wake 12/4/21 @ 7pm EST in his Memory. He has dedicated his life to this game, and this guild, in the entirety of its existence. He was a fast friend, caring companion, and heroic leader to the guild, and outward community. He lead the way in every aspect of the game. From helping new players along their storylines, to Commanding Map Events, WvW, and Raids. He achieved much and guided so many of us along our way while doing so. I'm sure I speak for the 500+ people of SDS, and many other players outside of us, when I ask if there could be some form of tribute to this wonderful man inside of the game? A Commander of a map event to honor him, perhaps? As he led so many of us these last 16 years, we hope you could allow him to Lead again from the Hall of Heroes. It would be a true honor to his spirit. Thank you for all your work, and to providing us players this outlet to meet such wonderful people. If you happen to see this and know of Lord Randal Thor, and wish to join for our Wake event, it will be hosted and streamed on our SDS discord, so his family may witness all the lives he touched across the globe. You can reach out to myself in game, and wear Medium Rubicon Armor in his Honor. Thank you
