  1. Same here. A second reinstallation fixed the problem. Odd, but solved now.
  2. Since the patch yesterday the game launcher won't open for me. It briefly flickers ("initializing") then disappears. I've tried repairing it, reinstalling the game and restating my computer but nothing fixed it. Does anyone else have this problem or know a way to fix it?
  3. Just all festival tonics in general, please. I think some of the halloween ones also ask confirmation?
  4. Titles are much more of a subtle flex than a big ugly heap of pixels that some may recognize as a mount.
  5. Why not house the orphans properly, Queen Jenna? Hm? 🤔
  6. My guess would be no. Thing is, if they do it once they'll have an endless wave of other people requesting to swap out this and that.
  7. So they basically want the thing without doing the requirement for the thing. Sounds an awful lot like entitlement to me, sorry. And unless you join a static you definitely do not need to organize days in advance apart from the initial getting ready (read: build, rotation practice, looking at mechanics). Keep an eye on the LFG, there are actually more learning/low KP/no KP runs than you might think. But I'll admit, it is indeed way easier to bash raids and the percieved entry barrier instead of actually trying it out and "putting in the work". Well, no. They did the thing and do not see why now you should not be required to do the thing anymore in order to reap the thing's rewards. I mean sure, it would be nice to get everything by completing Queensdale exploration - for about 15 minutes that is. After that it'd be the realisation that you really don't need to do things in order to get rewards and woops, the boredome sets in. Specific content always had specific incentives. And without it, most content would slowly die and fade into obscurity. GW2 with only open world press-1-and-win type content is a dystopian vision.
  8. I don't know why people are so against raids to farm the armor. If you are not doing the content, thats fine. Also means no content rewards though. Dont let the envy affect you.
  9. Similarly, some people seemingly want every reward without ever lifting a finger for it. It boggles the mind that so many would rather just give up without even trying and go cry on the forums endlessly. Raids in GW2 are, in terms of difficulty, on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to MMO raids in general. And yes, I do understand that muh cuhsual content needs to be casual but guess what, I have seen the most casual people actually flourish in raids, because they finally started really understanding what they were doing and why.
  10. This topic pops up quite regularly, I must say. I also must say, just waiting a few hours really isnt that much of a "wall". Especially when you can literally buy the runestones during each step of the collections. With planning this would not have been an issue.
  11. Good thing that they can distribute any damage taken evenly through their whole body. Otherwise we might chop it off after 15% and the dragon would fly away, harmed and one foot lighter, but otherwise alive. 🤔
  12. Had the exact same thing happen to me as well. Went to a blue camp (as a blue team member) only to find out we were currently capturing that same camp which then stayed blue after cap. All the while we had a green keep right next to it, that was friendly to us but contributed points to green. Huh?? edit: I feel like I should mention that I am currently playing on Skrittsburgh, since I forgot to select Deso for the beta
