  1. This has got to be the Single worst Map for Playability I've ever Had. But Anet continues to ignore player concerns and reports ( nothing new, just look at how they've failed to address the Boon ball issue in WvW ) Almost everyone at this point agrees the Map runs terribly. It is the single most clunky and poorly optimized location in the game. And Anet remains Completely silent about it. Refusing to even address that it's an issue and instead pretending that it's okay to continue to put out maps that are THIS clunky. It doesn't Matter How beautiful the map looks, if it runs Like burning garbage, it's not good.
  2. I've noticed that the new maps Run Extremely poorly, Despite not using More Resources than Any other map. Average RAM usage Non-SOTO Maps : 25-30% ( Worse than Pre-EOD Levels still.) Average RAM usage SOTO Maps : 40-45% ( Absolutely Ridiculous ) CPU Usage Doesn't Change between maps. Nor does GPU usage ( This is the thing that made me a bit Curious. ) Anet, You've Seriously Dropped the Ball when it comes to optimization . you Need to put someone on the task of making sure your game runs well. there's hundreds of people saying that the SOTO maps run like absolute dogwater.
  3. Bumping this up in the hopes that Anet will Soon address the Issue, or at least provide any means of " hey we're working on that thing we agreed is a problem" . Mentioning it in game gets 1 of 2 Responses : " Yeah I noticed it's been really bad lately " or " I Don't see any problems yet, What's Your PC build? " ( As if that wasn't already Checked into Oblivion and back.) And that's Kinda how it goes on these forums as well . Last Night I saw the Highest Memory usage I've Ever seen in GW2. Compared to an Even More crowded area Pre Gyala-delves patch.. memory usage was 20% Higher. Anyone pretending that there's No memory leak at this point either never Checks their Task manager / Resource Monitor , Or is straight-up lying.
  4. Probably ? I dunno. The Bug Effects all rev Specs IIRC But I haven't seen any revs in Raids/ strikes / Frac CM runs lately.
  5. I Haven't seen many Revs about in content like I used to I also don't play my own as much but That's because of a weird Client crash that happens when you dodge a lot of things at once as rev.
  6. Hey reporting in I can do the same thing On my condi mechanist
  7. Observations Post " Tweak " So , Pre-Tweak The Keys were the problem, with the rewards being, frankly, Absurdly good. However, the Minmax Strategy was to ONLY open the Ancient Miner's caches, as the Extreme Chokepoint on Keys made it unreasonable to even bother opening anything else. Post " Tweak " : The Same remains. The keys are ultimately Useless as the rewards from the Chests don't warrant even stopping to Open them. So the strategy is still " Only open the Ancient Miner's Caches , unless you have nothing better to do " Ultimately The Only Part of the map making the meta worthwhile is the Post-Boss Fishing nodes. which says a lot . It feels like Anet Said : " You can have keys, or you can have rewards, You cannot have Both "
  8. Unless they've fixed it there's a Bug where doding as Rev can Potentially Crash your entire client. As a class it's fantastic, fun , flavorful and actually valid in a lot of end-game content. But It's also Anet's Buggiest Class
  9. It's.. Because I don't feel like the details of my system mean anything if it's a game issue. My PC parts / Specs / settings won't help anyone here, especially not since I doubt many people are using parts this old nowadays anyway . And on the off chance someone does have the /exact/ setup I do .. the issue is still in the game, and not the Pc / it's files. I even run my graphics on /Lower/ settings than is recommended. So the fact that it's still eating way too much Memory compared to Pre-Gyala Delves patch is a fairly massive Red Flag.
  10. I've seen this hardcrash before a few times, too . Related to some " Lightning " particle effect. It only happens when I'm on Revenant so I presume it's ACTUALLY referring to the Revenant Dodge particles.
  11. Then Don't post here. This thread isn't for you, and you add nothing to the conversation
  12. Following A LENGTHY back-and-forth with the Support Team VIA a ticket. I'm Making this Thread so People who have similar issues can Sound out and Maybe get something Done about it. I know it's not just me , I know it's Not my PC , I know it's not my Internet. The Game has been Running Worse since the Gyala Delves Patch. For me, it's a Huge memory Leak in the game. Shutting the game off Brings RAM usage to Normal levels again, And the issue only appears when playing Gw2. For other people, I've heard anything from Graphics issues, to hard client crashes. During My back-and-forth We checked everything. Files cleared, Caches cleared , Reinstall, Checking pretty much every part ON my PC , Checking My connection, Firewall settings , Registry , and More. So , as I'm putting this in the correct Place now It's an Issue with The Game. If you have similar experiences or issues following the Gyala Delves Patch release, Be sure to get all your ducks in a row first, and then Sound off here.
  13. Thought this thread would include the hard client Crash when Playing as Revenant. Y'know. the one where you dodge in the middle of a bunch of Attacks. I'd love to be able to play rev again without risking a hard Crash in the middle of Content.
  14. See. I never even GO to the forums until all my Ducks are in a row. Me and the GW2 Team ( Via a ticket) Have tested Literally Everything and Lo and behold! It's a game issue.. which other people are now confirming.
  15. I don't know how much more precision You need. Do you want me to go back in time and Record the Better working version of the Game on my task manager? Then come back to the current day and Record this new , Objectively Worse version? For clarity, Average RAM usage in DR , PRE-Gyala update, was around 15% . Average RAM usage in DR , POST Gyala Update, Is around 25-30% This is Just Booting up the game and sitting in DR , Nothing Else. What did they change With the Gyala Delves update that Somehow increased the system requirements again, if that is your counterpoint? Point it out in the patch Notes for me, Since you're insisting that everything is Fine . Highlight it, even. The fact of the matter is, Memory usage is almost DOUBLE what it had been on average. Which , unless Anet Just really , absolutely Entirely Despises Functionality , Would not be an intentional Move. Many people are reporting Similar issues. SO I ask you how much more precision You need. Is a Horde of reports of similar problems Not enough ? Is Exact Numerical data Not enough?
