  1. I'm happy for aNet, but this releae means absolutely nothing to me. I don't have an international credit card, thus I can't easily buy gems to support them further like I would love to, so being able to bring my account to Steam would be a great thing. I started playing before Heart of Thorns was released, so I got A LOT of content I'm not willing to just give up and start from scratch. Glad to know people like me are not even thought of at all. Still love the game tho, and I mean it: I'm happy for them, they deserve everything good they get. It's kind of bittersweet lol

  4. I think this is why I literally changed my character's name to TEMPEST Jillian. The commitment to an element over the others was always something that appealed to me. I agree 100% with you there.
  5. I think some weapons, like Dagger, could be reworked to be an aggressive DPS focused weapon. Instead of Healing in skill 2, make it inflict chill per tick and do more damage to chilled enemies. And on other hand, make some other weapons, like staff, be full support oriented. Make Water Blast target allies only, remove its damage and double its healing on the main target + doing half as much healing in an AoE around the target. Make Healing Rain provide shields per tick, increasing the shield value per condition cleansed.
  6. I think the problem is not the Attunement itself, cause Vulnerability and Chill are very good conditions to focus on and they do provide extra DPS against enemies who are chilled and vulnerable. THE PROBLEM I PERSONALLY HAVE WITH THE WATER ELEMENTALIST THOUGH The weapons are too weak in that attunement. Water Dagger is too high risk and "meh" reward. Skill 1 is beautiful to look at, but it often misses the target on its way forward or on its back; Water Staff is too slow, where you rely heavily on the AoE slow of skill 4 to land your big damage in skill 2 (People forget that Ice Spike actually does good damage and isn't just a combo skill). Skill 1 is too slow even for healer Tempests, and the damage is so minimal it almost feels like you're healing your enemy as well; Water Scepter... Well, it doesn't exist. Skill 2 will never hit a moving target, skill 1 is too slow and does nothing but some symbolic damage and skill 3, being the only thing good about Water Scepter, is a slow as kitten AoE that even support Tempests don't rely on, because it forces us to predict even our allies movement now; Water focus is the best weapon for water. Comet being an AoE 2 seconds Daze and Freezing Gust being a point and click Chill? Very strong in my opinion. But then you have no actual dps on any Main Hand water weapon to follow up, so you're forced to use the Focus skills and immediately change to Air or Fire.
  7. A lot of people think that Catalysts are just a lousy match up between Tempest and Weaver, so I can see the similarities. That being said, I would love if Overloads were treated like Jade Spheres.
  8. All being said, I appreciate the quickness in updates. I was expecting to be ghosted for a few weeks before there was anything at all to announce. So thank you for that.
  9. There has been many suggestions from the Tempest players to make this trait more viable. INCREASING THE BASE DURATION OF ALAC BY 1 SECOND was not one of them. Does anyone even read the forums anymore?
  10. and to add salt to injury, you guys change the ranked PvP to a kittening 2v2. Because, YES! FACING TWO MECHS WHEN YOU HAVE ONLY ONE ALLY BY YOUR SIDE IS TOTALLY REASONABLE!

  13. after playing enough Alac support Tempest, I'm so mentally done I'm about to gear up some Magi's and never leave Water Staff.
  14. Any update yet or are they gonna ghost us for 2 weeks just to re-adjust some numbers?
  15. I think that if they gave two pulses of Alacrity, one at the start of Overloads and other at the end, it would already be an improvement.
