Benchmarks | Snow Crows Imagine being something simmed at levels that aren't even shown on this page being nerfed while other people are complaining their entire profession, which is on the higher end, isn't worth using? I really don't understand what is going on or what is inducing this absolutely bonkers amount of outrage.

I love everything about this post, except the fact they brought the damage levels up to par then nerfed it without notice. Still, rifle is much more pleasing to use, if you stomach the dps loss from using something else.

You really need to link the test and the circumstances. If you do not, we have no way to verify the results and to test against them.

It's now at just about the same level, it just feels more satisfying to use, as it's not the slow hip-shot you're used to. You've come back to the version that is about 33% worse than the original iteration, which was somewhat competitive with kit auto attacks.

If they're brought up to par they will immediately be lowered to about 75% of the next best, as we can see with the recent rifle changes.

Worse, because it reeks of shame and guilt, as if they didn't want to mention it after already being bullied into nerfing mechanist.

What power dps build are you playing that you can apply perma quick+alac+ decent shields? There are, without a doubt, zero specs in this game that take 200 apm to be able to play flawlessly.

Why is power mechnist a problem? I look at snow crows and power rifle mech is not even on the front page. Am I missing some secret build that is doing more than the highest listed power engineer build, Power| Sword (holosmith) at 37.291k dps? Power | Rifle is listed next at 37, 115 dps. Can someone link me a recorded parse that is more than either and is the basis for the apparent outrage?

This seems to be a parse using a bomb kit. This forum post is about Mechanists using the rifle weapon. Rifle mech has seen a significant (10%+ depending on rotation) nerf due to not only the mech seeing a reduction in dps but also the rifle seeing a reduction in speed.

For a brief, shining moment Rifle was brought up to par. It's a shame.
