ANet! Stop ignoring this bug! This is infuriating

ANet has mastered the art of changing things, that nobody asked them to change!

What a stupid decision. It's going to be much more difficult for new players to get all these defending achievements. Why there are no adjustements to these?

Hi Anet, please nerf https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Defeat_the_Purist_champion_(New_Kaineng) so that it's soloable for the Purifier achievement. As you already know, nobody plays EoD maps except meta, map completion and maybe fishing.

As a consumer, I demand the next phase of nerfs.

The event is still bugged

Frozen Out - I tried 5 or 6 times and it always DC'ed after the boss fight, during dialogs (which is too long and crap btw.) or after the "cinematic" cutscene. I gave up and finished it on Geforce Now, which is free for 1-hour long session.

Same problem here.

I just wasted 20 minutes of my life on the Hidden Arcana story just to get DC after the last cut scene (after defeating the final boss). Of course no a single checkpoint...

Bumping the thread as anet did nothing to fix the bug and yes - this is a bug in their application - nothing to do with our systems or how we connect to the internet. If a client looses the connection with the server, it should simply reconnect - that's how all TCP applications work. Right now we have to complete "Hidden Arcana" story to get the new achievement. This is one the longest story missions and I already got disconnected twice at the same moment. Oh, and don't bother contacting support - they will spam you with some stupid, useless tasks like getting hijack logs (srsly who uses this in 2021?) or getting tracert stats.
