  1. More aquatic pets, preferably aquatic only for more variety~ Maybe a Tuna? A swarm of juvenile piranhas? And yes, I shall continue asking about underwater stuff until Aquatic Ruins no longer exist.
  2. I would like the icon to be more distinct than the auto attack - it's really hard to tell right now, color and shape too similar at a quick glance.

I shall inhale an ocean's worth of copium, and here we go (pve only coz that's all I take ranger to): Better astral force generation from damage OR remove AF penalty from early leave and/or allow entering CA without a full gauge, remove ground target and speed up shortbow ambush, underwater glyphs, more stability stacks on the 2 glyphs that currently have it (I suck at names sorry), shorten elite spirit's cooldown, F2 being priority/queueable, Grace of the Land allowing Druid to apply Alac on entering and leaving CA OR pulse alac from the caster (on top of its current effect), Less opaque staff ambush.
  4. I am not sure what to feel about this patch aside from "now that Renegade utilities are not targeted, can they exist underwater?" (Yes I will keep saying it, I am sick of having those 2 legends unusable underwater)
  5. On the very small chance of this happening - is there any chance Legendary Renegade and Legendary Centaur be made available for underwater combat within the near future? At least Legendary Centaur. Pardon me, either I'm really bad at using the search function or it hasn't been mentioned in a while. I'd say that should be important to consider with lack of underwater support weapon and the existence of Aquatic Ruins. I acknowledge that heal Renegade is off-meta, but I'd like the option not being completely butchered on arrival.
  6. I'm a filthy PvE casual, I don't really read forums, and I'm not sure how this is gonna balance. It has been nagging me that, currently, ranger has access to alac heal, quick heal (somewhat?) and quick dps. With the way Druid traits are right now, it is impossible to use CA to both DPS and alac - I have to choose one or the other. Would it be feasible to swap Eclipse (CA offensively augmented) with Natural Balance (more damage done and less damage taken on entering or leaving CA) so I can choose to an alac dps druid?
  7. Can I ask for catalyst to receive a passive way to regenerate energy when we have nothing to hit? AFAIK, ele is very melee-heavy and some times things just don't like you to be in melee long enough to kitten with your energy/attunement cycle. Something like Necro's soul reaping minor or Druid's minor. Or even a boost to Energized Elements. Idk, maybe I'm just bad at the game? Looking forward to the Ranger changes and Revenant hammer. But would it be possible to make Revenant's axe 4 from moving the revenant through the target?

  9. Bless my friend for being good at math - he mathed out that it is currently impossible to maintain group quickness as untamed, even with 100% boon duration. (edit: it is possible to almost maintain full quickness on self due to 2nd major) I tried going with hammer 3, hammer 5 (habit from fervent force days) pet f1-f3 during those 2 buttons, unleash, ambush, hammer 2, hammer 4, unleash, swap axe 2, axe 3 (also pet f1-f3 if they're back), unleash, ambush, axe 4, axe 5, unleash (pet f1-f3), swap It's not that much different from the muscle memory I developed. BUT then I tried going with unleash-ambush immediately and waiting for it to come back before doing it again and weapon swap AFTER the 2nd ambush. And boy, did the "cooldown" of unleash pet/ranger disagree with me. ....On top of STILL being unable to provide full quickness. Nope. That's janky for me.
  10. Anet, I thought we were supposed to get reduced APM, not increase it... I needed FOUR entities to actually heal to get even remotely close to full alac uptime. FOUR - myself, my pet, tempest friend, tempest friend's air elemental. Floor damage pulse moderate. Also if we're supposed to spam CA skills to keep alac uptime, CAN WE STOP HAVING 2 CHANNEL SKILLS one of which just cancels if you move?
  11. I agree - I'd like the escorts to actually quell the void outbreaks on the way before it surges again. As it is, we have bright open skies with some dark spots near the crystals...and that's about it. There's no sense of urgency until after the escorts are over, and there's no sign of really major void outbreak. It would make more sense for the escorts to go toward the outbreaks (to power the crystals) and securing the middle area as there's where the crystals are going to be. I'm digressing, but while we're at this, a lot of (afking) people doesn't seem to know that the [+10% Dragon's End Contributor] is not, in fact, a 10% increase in damage - it's 20%. If the final fight is balanced around that buff but you need to wiki this to find out, there's something that needs to change in the tooltip and/or how the buff itself and the fight is balanced. As of right now, if you don't wiki it and you're new to the map/meta, you'd assume each stack is +1% which is correct until the very last one. I don't mind being punished for my mistake, but right now it felt like I'm being punished for someone else's mistake when the map is overflowing with those who don't even try to pitch in until the 5 crystals part and later. If I dc'd at any point, I'm basically kittened because the map is full (which has happened on multiple occasions, and I never got back in even with just 1 person in queue). There's also something wrong about whirlpool's break bar when it's more efficient to die, respawn and hold your cc for the boss. Then again, I'm new, so what the hell do I know?
  12. I don't play any other professions, so I can't speak much outside of ranger. Anyway, here we go. Despite the quote above, interestingly there's no mention of "We Heal as One" or "Strength of the Pack" (both are reduced cooldown by a trait in Beastmastery as of now). Not sure I'm a fan of the spirit changes, but idk the duration of the boon or how the new spirits work, same with Celestial Avatar. I'd rather the spirits not fully disappear and work like Revenant's tablet instead, or completely attached to the ranger. There's much that hinges on the cooldown and the boon duration, so I won't be thinking too much about it (for now) Also, can "Perilous Gift" stop having a cooldown the size of a small moon for what it's doing? It's ok for the damage reduction, but I'm not sure I'm ok with the actual healing. I've been using "Fervent Force" mainly for this. And yes I only play open world/fractal, don't care for much else.
