  1. I was right. I knew they were going to do it this way. Bladesworn (the thing that currently gives Alacrity) Still has 2 tradeoffs for no reason. And doesn't have an F1 skill fyi. It also still has 3 pages of Bugs, has been nothing but nerfed in PvP and WvW since it came out. All in service of making it barely playable in PvE. No class flair left AT ALL since the gemstore Shiro's Appearance Package and Necro Swords just ate it's 1 remaining unique projectile animation. Also all of the Gunsaber skills that say' 900 range don't pierce, don't hit properly in their miniscule aoe, and don't even all go 900 range. Meanwhile Ele got 15 minutes of touting an ammunition mechanic that would have been perfect for Gunsaber, Revenant gets a 300 "melee" lightsaber, and Ranger gets a "Support" weapon that actually heals and applies barrier. (It doesn't have to channel or block freaking bullets to do it either.) -- Putting healing after a mandatory channel is terrible balance devs, because when you need to heal someone the last thing you want to do is wait 2 seconds. But you guys did such a good job on Ranger and Ele I'm sure you know this. You are just actively trolling the few remaining Warrior players in the playerbase at this point. Me personally? I'm done with this game. Hire a Balance dev for Warrior please. But I'm out.
  2. Jesus Christ, I was right. They leveraged all of staff's real healing onto the F1 / Primal Burst skills. Bladesworn (the thing that currently gives Alacrity) Still has 2 tradeoffs for no reason. And doesn't have an F1 skill fyi. I'm done with this game.
  3. Dang. So your argument again avoids the question. And doesn't explain how to actually generate 100 flow in sub 8 seconds. Nice. As OP said UD only ever does any damage when fully charged. So it's only a threat when that happens. (As shown by your own example of Dragonspike Mine - Which currently exists, and no one is raging about in PvP.) If you're predicating your argument on repeated-smaller UD slashes then I've got news for you [Daring Dragon] used to reset your DT WAY more and Literally No One gave a kitten about that in ranked. Getting micro-stunned by slashes randomly that do 1/4s -1/2 s stun minimum 2s apart isn't going to change anything. --- And that wasn't even OP's point anyway. Their point was that it needs a better trigger or more consistent cleaving effect on the sub 50% enemies, not what it does. Falls also mentions this. It's not humorous. You're just wrong. You haven't listed any of these "easy" or "hard ways" and the guy above just proved your 1 idea doesn't work. So unless you're gonna provide any better examples maybe think before you touch a keyboard again. Stop trying to use straw-man arguments and hypotheticals to tear down people providing good, actually reasoned-out feedback and use some of that effort to use your own brain and give the devs some feedback of your own. Uniformed comments like this are why the devs think all Warrior players are idiots and you do nothing but push Warrior further from fun' mechanics into stupid, ancillary numbers changes that mean nothing gameplay wise.
  4. + If every other "Lightning Reflexes" specialization skill is going to give resistance or remove immobilize: [Dragonspike Mine] should give resistance at the start of the cast. Don't just make it remove immobilize as it already does this when traited with [Warrior's Sprint] and resistance is better for Bladesworn because it means you can actually cast Slash2 anyway. *(It should also move you further back, or have 2 charges. But you know, it's important to keep sacrificing pieces of Bladesworn's anemic PvP kit for PvE.) + [Heightened Focus] should just put a buff on your bar that automatically refreshes your burst skills for 10s, or just reduce the cd for burst skills down to 1/4s and reduce their total efficacy by 20%. -- Trying to generate adrenaline or flow for this without a PvE Build and without [Burst Mastery] is going to be a nightmare anyway. | Having it auto-trigger randomly when you hit something below 50% on an invisible icd when you just used all of your profession resource to do that next attack is silly. + [Dual Wielding] should do... something... like at all... Thief and Mes changes look solid tho. Ty for the preview! ❤️
  5. Right... how tho. You haven't listed any of these "easy" or "hard ways" and the guy above just proved your 1 idea doesn't work.
  6. Please God, someone explain this to me. With [Versatile Power] and [Fast Hands] which you DO TAKE on every Berserker build, (because Warrior is actually unplayable without and balanced around Discipline,) your Primal Burst skills and Weapon Swap cooldowns are reduced to 4.25s and 5s respectively. That's why the might on Weapon-Swap (altho basically non-existent today) is on a 4s cooldown. (Mostly to account for the novel use of Warrior Runes - Which drop the Weapon Swap cooldown to 4s.) And so did whoever originally implemented Bladesworn because, even though the damage is dog-kitten, the cooldown on [Unseen Sword] is also 4s. *Incidentially these should actually be reduced to 3s or just removed. because if you take Discipline on Bladesworn the cooldown is further reduced to 3s because Gunsaber functions like a kit. But this isn't really my point. I also realized that while they front-loaded 2 of the bleed stacks onto [Flurry] they just removed 2 of them from [Flaming Flurry], made it hit less, do less damage, and didn't even shorten the cast time. ----- My point is: Is ANet just afraid to hire someone who has ever touched a Warrior or what!? Like I'm not memeing at this point. They just had ~3 job postings for Balance Devs so I'm genuinely asking. Did someone on Team USA, or some EU team I don't know about, just ask them to keep Warrior sh*t forever and never update it or something?? Did Cal die to it too many times on stream??? I legit want to know. It gets the barest minimum of ancillary updates and most of the traits and weapon skill have never been touched. It's been 10 years.
  7. 1 Banner that makes skills render. Genius! No joke I had this weird idea back when where you could chuck banners at people (allies & enemies) the allied ones would be unblockable or would stop and plant where projectile blocked, and they would pulse allied boons/barrier/whatever. And the enemy ones would do the same but in reverse. & Then the Grandmaster shout trait would cause each shout to trigger +/- AOE effects around each banner like shades! Could even have the banners sword 4-rip-abble for extra damage or effects or reduced cooldown like engi turrets. Just a pipe dream. But I'd dig it!! 😄 Leg specialist 100% needs to stay tho. Could even add more traits that just add "On X do Y" the CD per-target is wonderful.
  8. I love this for PvX. Seconded! Or, old DD w/ AOE Alac+Protein pulse on ID with reduced damage per bullet for variety? ^^ I dig the idea of being able to "Build my own Gunsaber" similar to how Holos can "Build their own lightsaber forge." ^^
  9. First off: Thank you for doing the preview (and genuinely reading the feedback - if you are.) Second: I have to agree with a LOT of the sentiments echoed here. Options are good & if you're always saying "We don't want to delete this or that build" on stream whether it's something popular like Heal Scourge or something unique like DD Bladesworn if it affects actual playstyle & has been in the game for over a year chances are someone is using it, enjoys it, has built muscle memory around it, & you probably shouldn't change it without a GOOD reason & imo with the number of alternatives that could both introduce the new boons you want while preserving the styles of Engi, Becro, Warrior, etc. Shoving each boon onto a Grandmaster just kind of... I dunno... feels lazy. Sorry. There are better alternatives without deleting builds. I like the idea I saw of Alac or Quick being on core support line that only gives the boon you want with whatever specialization but nerfed res power or damage or whatever if you took it. Then it would feel like "the support trait" and you could have Warrior or Scourge or whatever have it's damage or healing nerfed if they took this trait + The required specialization. That would be cool & much easier to balance imo. But even failing this alac or quick traits shuold not replace or be balanced around cool traits that affect actual gameplay. I.e. [Daring Dragon] or [Transfusion] because then you're sacrificing functionality or fun gameplay or both for forced inclusion of boons. Idk just my 2 cents.
