After several hours and easily over a dozen attempts, I got this finally. My suggestions. - Take off all armor and try to hit the brandstones after eye shot to get killed and repeat "round", I hit his eye 3 times. - On second "round" target end of tail and just spam until about 1/3 of the way through sequence, switch forward to furthest target and spam that one spot I really think this is where the vast majority of my hits came from. - Third "round" crossing wings. Targeted the leading purple spikes on wings exclusively left one immediatly. Just after passing over it, went to far right wing leading purple spike area and spammed that. I didn't see any damage register, but I got the achievement. Its enraging that ANet has this buggy garbage AND has set it so that the Dragonfall "War Eternal" and Vision achievements require 18/18 so there is no way to avoid this BS.

Tried to do this fractal 3 times today 2 at T1, 1 at T2. Everytime the party quit, twice during the JP part, once at boss when everyone died after pounding on that tank. Way to many new mechanics in a directionless void of space, where do you go and jump and use what? I had some idea as I spent 45 minutes watching several videos to get some idea how to navigate it. I don't think I'll ever play this one again. There is no gradual introduction to anything in the instanced content of GW2 (like story bosses too)... here, take a brand new set of functions with a weapon you've never ever been able to practice, try it in a world you can't explore, with a ton of new mechanics represented by graphics you have never seen before... oh and while you are at it, dodge a carpet bomb of AoE. Are you having fun?

They used the words choice and choose an awful lot in their prerelease announcement. We had 3 out of 12, that was choice. Now its, here is your 4, go do these 4 no choice. Its not choice Anet, its pick a box to pre-restrict your options and lock you into an unknown requirement. This new system SUCKS A.
