  1. I'm pretty sure it's designed to be ranged/condi which is clearly firebrand style.
  2. Really? multi hitting is the willbender's field? If willbender is multi hitting what is the firebrand then, who literally has a ton of skills affecting entire groups?
  3. I think pistol/pistol set was released for Firebrands due to lack of a proper ranged weapon. The set heavily relies on condition damage which is the key element of the Firebrand.
  4. I find it funny that people with these classes who enjoy being ridiculously overpowered join related posts like this one and mock them. But I shouldn't be surprised, it's not who face problems after all.
  5. Hello guys, I believe most of you agree with the title. When I play the game, I join WvW and PvP for some time. What I've seen regarding Elementalists, and especially Tempests, is indescribable. In WvW a Tempest took down 7 non-elementalist players with exceptional ease and only once got endangered but quickly fully healed and in PvP 5 players hunted one tempest and were unable to take him down. Even I created an Elementalist out of curiosity and I gotta say that I've never seen a character that can do literally anything in the game. Heal (Water), Damage (Fire), Stability (Earth), Mobility (Air), all are his and belong to him alone. I decided to delete the game out of disappointment cause it doesn't matter what we do in PvP, a tempest joins and either our enemy wins or we win cause of one tempest. It's a disappointment and the developers have read many times about the op tempest but they decided, obviously, to buff him further in the latest major update. Share your ideas. Hope this time they will decide to finally do something about it. P.L. This is the last time I edit this post. To all those who claim I suck in PvP, I gotta say that most of time I am the highest DPS. To those who claim that Tempests need buffing, I gotta say, find another class with four different weapon skill sets each doing a complerely different job (Damage/Condi, Heal/Regen, Mobility/Crit, Protection/Stability. To those who claim this is a troll post, I'm rather serious. And finally to those who can't survive as tempests, check your build.
  6. Don't ask me which skill it was cause I got no idea, but I got 18.000 damage from a single tempest skill in pvp. Everybody knows that elementalists and thieves should be greatly nerfed. Haven't tested the Drake in PvP yet, but I'll give it a shot. It's great in pve though. (Elementalists and thieves who enjoy being ridiculously overpowered against other players are excluded from the “everybody” of course)
  7. I don't think ANet developers test the changes they make in real pvp matches. If they did, they would have known that you can't have a class that is invisible most of the time like Deadeyes and also give these invisible guys insane damage. Or scrappers that empty entire health bars with but a few explosives. These things are easily noticeable by playing for minutes. A few specs just feel as if they have no disadvantages.
  8. Well, think again about how to build your Willbender. I got a Guardian and I admit that I can't play Willbender, only Dragonhunter, but all Willbenders I encounter in PvP do half team's work. Skill or cheating I don't know, but their teleports from both weapons and class skills make the game useless for ranged classes. I think ArenaNET literally ruined the game with all these teleports in almost every class.

I enjoyed the fact that Elementalists, the most ridiculously overpowered pvp class in the game BY FAR, receive BUFFS instead of NERFS and the Ranger, not even considered a good PvP class, has some pet skills that got NERFED. L O L!!! This development team needs some serious help cause it's the most ridiculous development team I've encountered in my life.
  10. I don't know how, I got a willbender but nothing like what I encounter, some willbenders in pvp full heal the whole time. If not the product of cheating, this stupid special spec needs to be nerved a lot. Not to mention that they teleport the whole time, thanks to 3 sword skills and other willbender skills. It's ridiculously overpowered.
  11. I know that it's been some time since the original post, but I only recently returned to the game. So, long story short, Ranger was and is my favourite class and I had trouble which special specialization I should pick. So, after some search I found out that untamed is for me. I became one and after I read that soulbeast is way more damaging, I decided to raise that one as well...hated it lol Untamed gives the pet three really cool skills and it becomes offensive like hell, not to mention that the enemy will delay realizing where the Ranger actually is cause even if he leaves, the pet keeps hunting them. And as long as you have the enemy marked, you can order your pet to use the Venomous Outburst skill and deplete the remaining HP quickly, got way too many fleeing enemies down with that skill. I use bears cause they're tanky with over 50k HP and they also become great attackers with the untamed skills. Despite the deadliness of the Untamed and the restoring HP skills he has, most people believe it's way harder to play with than a Soulbeast. Must be true cause I encountered only two or three Untamed in PVP and countless Soulbeasts. Those few Untamed were easier to handle compared to Soulbeasts but I think that's the result of strategic gameplay and really high skill requirement of the Untamed elite spec.
