  1. For me, it's the Gift of Battle. It's pretty much unobtainable for me. While I actually used to enjoy PVP and WVW, I'm physically unable to do either these days. Being a computer worker and a gamer, I vastly overdid it with my computer hours and am now suffering the consequences (despite ergonomically seat, workplace, pauzes etc... overdoing it is overdoing it). So now I simply can't do the twitch of PVP or the hours required for WvW. A long time ago, you could buy the Gift of Battle using WvW tokens. I never managed to loot precursors in those days, so I never thought to buy them in bulk. And then the system was changed. I still have some 14K of those tokens, and nothing to spend them on... So yes, giving an alternative route through the Wizard's Vault would be nice. Especially because at some point I did start looting precursors... and then came the Vault starter kits, to make things worse. Plenty of ingredients, but no Gifts of Battle to actually make a legendary. Sigh.
  2. Interestingly all emails have arrived now. Interestingly, the attempt at 10:14 AM came in LONG before the attemps for 9:57, 10:06 and 10:07 arrived. I'd say there's something desperately wrong with the guildwars email system.
  3. Starting this morning, I am having issues trying to log in and trying to make a support tickets. The problem is that the two-factor verification e-mails do not arrive at all or only arrive after a 5 minute delay. In other words, I keep pressing the 'refresh' button in my mail program, and nothing happens. Thus far, I have made 5 attempts to get a code and I have actually received 2 much-delayed emails. Incidentally: I am visually impaired, so copying and pasting the code from email is fine, but copying manually from a phone or authenticator device is ... arduous. At this point, I'd rather you switched the whole 2-factor identification off...
  4. I'm having issues too. I have chronical joint issues in my hands and shoulders. and I need to take regular breaks. As in actually lying down and resting. Group play is completely out, people try to hurry everything (which I can't) or dither around for hours waiting for that one team member that had someone at the door or whatever. My play time is limited. And I'm really not willing to risk my health (further) for a game. So yeah, those new dailies are bad. I used to be able to pick one of the WvW options you could solo if the PVE ones had too many group things (dungeons, fractals? ugh, no can do) or things that need a huge time investment (like a world boss that spawns every 4 hours, or like the hounds in Vabbi). And now... I can't. You pick things FOR me if I try a mix. So pretty much for the first time since launch, I'm not completing dailies. Basically, you created yet another thing that's unfit for casual gamers. And this for a game that advertised as the mecca for casual gaming way back when it launched. Frankly, I'd prefer it if you went all the way back to the ORIGINAL dailies. Does anyone remember those? Things like 'kill 10 different types of enemy', 'gather 10 plants', 'view one vista', 'kill 10 players'... in ANY zone you preferred, at any time you preferred, no grouping required.
  5. I just noticed this when I tried to find out why my entire game froze up on launching, taking the rest of my computer with it.... great time to find yet another issue. But yes, it would seem as if cloudflare rejects any and all forum access attempts using my VPN (ExpressVPN). It's not even when trying to log into the forums, it's a full denial, with a 403 error. I understand some people abuse VPNs. Some people abuse shared IP addresses too, like internet cafes, libraries, school/college/university campuses etc. Are those too all blocked? Because I can assure you, it's tremendously irritating to those of us (the vast majority I think) who use it in good faith to get a more stable connection.
  6. Same problem here. The game just froze while in the process of launching. Very disturbing that in doing so, it also somehow froze Windows task manager, my browser and a bunch of other programs. A hard reboot was needed to get back to a working computer. (Windows 10 Pro) I can confirm, however, that renaming the gw2-64.exe to gw2-t4.exe.old fixed things.
  7. I always play using a VPN. In my experience, it helps with lag/ping issues. Unfortunately, this is now once again causing issues with Guild Wars 2 (it did 2 weeks ago too). Yesterday evening, I was able to log in while the VPN was active. This morning, I cannot. Interestingly, the computer has been on 24/7 and neither software nor hardware has been updated. My antivirus/malware programs register no issues. ALL other internet/online locations work as normal while the VPN is on.As soon as I disable the VPN, I can log in again. And the second I turn it on again, I cannot.I can only conclude you changed something server side. One possibility is that you blocked either the IP addresses assigned to my VPN provider (ipredator.se) or maybe even all Swedisch addresses.Could you please look into this?
  8. Oh, and without the VPN the error code site is available too. So yeah, please fix that.
  9. While troubleshooting, I turned off my VPN, and lo and behold, I can log in again. Turned it on again, no login. Turned it off again, and I can log in again. Which would seem to indicate Guild Wars 2 has blocked my VPN provider (iPredator.se). As I use a VPN to stabilize my ping, I'm not exactly happy about that. Could someone please take a look at this?
  10. That site has been unavailable to me since the error started, so er, yeah. Also, as you might notice by my posting in an online forum, everything else is working just fine.
  11. I'm unable to connect to the login server through the launcher at this time with error code 58:11.5.535. As my computer has not been offline since the last time I accessed GW2 some 10 hours ago, I highly doubt the problem is client side.
