Hello, I just bought this mostly because I wanted to get the new equipable weapons in it, however found out I need to now do the first 4 parts. Just curious about how long this takes? I don't know the story as I am behind but wanted to get the weapons first so it's really annoying keeping my headset down so low and trying to ignore as much story as I can. I doubt it but is there a way to skip straight to The Realm of Dreams?

Just kind of curious when it comes to medium armor what is the best to just crush PvE? Of course with light armor you get Necro Minion Master build which can solo dungeons/champions/events with out much issues. Just curious if there is a medium armor class/build that can compete for the pure solo easiness?

So from my understanding the members of the nightmare court left the dream and entered nightmare. They claim the dream is a lie and the mother tree is lying to everyone including herself. But is this ACTUALLY true? Those in nightmare honestly seem to be more themselves and free of the dream and almost act as if they are the ones who escaped being brainwashed by the dream. I could of missed/forgot a huge part of the story has I have not completed season 2 in a while or the sylvari missions however I am just curious if anyone can maybe explain if they truly are "bad" or wrong?

Hello everyone, I was thinking about working towards getting my first legendary The Binding of Ipos. I had a few questions before I even begin. 1. Is there any PvP required? I personally hate PvP and hopefully it is not required, if so is there an easy way of getting what is needed from PvP? 2. I see we can go with either Gift of Maguuma Mastery or Gift of Desert Mastery. Is 1 of these overall easier to get over the other?

Hello everyone! I have been looking for an HP train for HoT to start however have had no luck finding one. Just curious if anyone knows if and guilds or anything have a scheduled one or if anyone knows if there is a specific day/time someone typically starts them? My characters is sadly built around the elite spec and the gear can't do anything alone so have not even unlocked the waypoints yet.

But here is the problem though: The OP literally states “I don’t think this needs too much explaining as to why”. He obviously has a problem but give no context, no mob details, nor does he say what classes he plays. It just is kinda hard to be sympathetic when he is being so cryptic. That is like the worst way of offering feedback. Personally I just upvoted the post below the OP. Edit: and btw, we don’t even know if he speaks about PvE, SPvP or WvW. I am not sure what else to explain. There are a lot of mobs in.pve who can put you on the ground and keep you there for one simple mistake. PvP I don't do but am sure it's just as brutal at times.

This. I am very aware of stun breaks and stability. But basically need to keep all my utility as those kind of skills which isn't much fun on my opinion when random mobs sometimes pop out of no where.

This game really needs to be set up so if you get stunned or knocked down there is a 4 to 5 second delay before it happens again. I don't think this needs too much explaining as too why. Just gets kind of annoying the amount of times it happens and you can't do much to get off the ground until you die.

This has been a huge complaint of mine for years. They just need a setting to disable other people's skills effects and I think I'll be able to actually see what I'm fighting.

I promise this thread will die before the game does it that helps?

I keep reading people want expansions. I fully understand the "why" people want them it seems to make sense most the reasons why people want them. And here is the but. We got 2 new expansions. When hot came out we got 4 maps. (Well 3 with dragons stand just being a meta event). This grossly thinned population in other maps. We then got pof with 4 maps also hugely thinning population in other maps. So many people think the game is dying because we see less and less players. We still have a huge population but these expansions with new maps at once I think spread the players out way too much. When we got living world season 2 I think dry top and silverwastes was much better than any expansion gw2 could ever come out with. It helped keep the community better together with offering multiple things to do in maps with groups working together with goals. Just saying, I.hope we never get another expansion. To fund the game maybe add mini expansions. Maybe something along the lines of multiple stories per a map like season 2 for cheaper prices like 10 bucks (to those who want to complain about charging remember it's a company, they need money. Just because you bought the first avengers movie do you think they would of kept making the movies if they didn't plan on selling the others? Video games require money to) I dunno, just my 2 cents.

Strictly pve. I do fine with mobs but like being able to solo tough events and champions

I am horrible at dps in this game and every game. I try to never go to kill them before they kill me, I like to build myself to do around half damage as others but be very very hard for any mob to kill me. With that said right now I am building a sword dagger weaver, I have mostly a big mix of everything with mostly healing and vitality. A mix with condition damage power and precesion (more power than condition damage). I am curious if I should switch out rune of the flock for rune of sanctuary to get all those bonus barriers on every hit. I was trying to debate which is overall better for survival. Thoughts?

All magi armor? Then zerker weapons with a mix of condition on on.accessories?

Trying to make a weaver right now and can't afford celestial gear. Using only purchased items from tp or with karma any suggestions for optimal gear set up on armor, weapons and accessories? Want to make sure I have some healing power and decent vitality for sure.

No one plays wvw anymore so the track would take me months. No one ever joins my groups for dungeons (doing honor of the waves) as I am not super skilled I struggle a bit going in solo. I have no friends in the game. It's really frustrating how insanely hard it is getting these competed. Any suggestions? Anet really should just sell it already in the store

How would this work on a scourge? Other than the 1 ability to heal others? Or are you suggesting less healing but more shield in its place?

I like to always play by myself mostly but as I'm always doing open world pve I run into a lot of people. I am trying to think of a build that's really great solo (doing champions and harder events alone) but if I am around will also greatly help others with healing. I am currently running a high healing condition hearld and having a good time and feel my fury plus regeneration is a great help overall. Just curious if there is any other builds that can solo great but also be helpful if others are around? All I ask is no ele builds as that is by far my worst class
