Still broken 😒

I hope it was fixed for you. I accidently hit the teleport while fighting the key master and the amber runestone was no longer in my bag. I went back to the instance and killed the key master, but the amber runestone was still missing. I left and came back to start over again, but the amber runestone is no longer there to pick up. I still have the jade runestone. Hopefully if I try again tomorrow, it will be there.

I found that I had to reset my modem to be able to log in again today, although perhaps if I had kept trying without doing that, I might have been able to get in eventually anyway. Btw..... If anyone is running a VPN, that seems to be a problem with GW2. At least for me. And maybe my use of a VPN earlier today caused a problem, although I wasn't using it when I tried to log in. At any rate, modem reset seems to fix the problem.......... unless it's a coincidence. lol Hopefully this will be of help for those who still can't log in.

I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I also have an ASUS ROG Strix, running Win 10. Ok, I feel kind of stupid. I was looking at some of my old notes from when this happened years ago, and one thing to try (which I should have thought of right away) is to reboot your modem. No problem getting back in once I did that. So if anyone else is having the same problem, try that.

Same. Attempting to log in over and over and over is driving me insane. After 20 or so tries, I can usually get in, but today I'm wondering if I will be able to get in at all.

So sorry that you had to uninstall EoD and are having so many problems. This whole "Unable to Open Archive FIle / Download failed! Please check your internet connection and try again" over and over and over is what's driving me crazy. It has nothing to do with my computer because if I keep trying long enough, I'm eventually able to log in. But to take 10, 20, 30 attempts every time I try to log in is really getting old. Today I can't seem to get in at all, but I keep trying, so maybe......................

Worked for me as well. I cleaned out the cache beforehand, but that didn't fix it. This did.

It wasn't working for me, but when you said that it does work, I decided to try something different. So thank you for that. I went and made two templates with the only change being that one weapon was different. By having all 3 weapons in templates, I no longer lose sigils and infusions in both weapons like I did when I switched them out myself (without the templates). Hope that makes sense. I'm just grateful that I don't have to resocket everything every time I change a weapon. But yeah, I hate to buy templates just to switch out some weapons without having to customize stats, sigils, and infusions over and over again.

Sadly, equipment templates do nothing to fix this problem.

Has anyone been able to find a solution to this? I feel awful because I switched the weapons I was using in a dragon response, and ended up playing without sigils and infusions and worse still, any kind of stats, such as berserkers. I felt like an idiot when I finally realized why my dps was so bad. Everything is gone whenever I switch to a new weapon. lol this is a year and a half since the first post, and it's still a problem.

I regret paying for extra templates because it seems that changing builds and weapons is destroying the infusions and sigils in my weapons. Not all the time on all weapons, but enough to make me want to stop using templates and having to keep replacing them.

Hurray... It worked!

I killed tons in the green circle, both with events and without. I killed tons more outside of the green circle. I relogged and killed a bunch more. Fingers crossed it will work for me today. Thanks for letting us know that it's possible it will start working again.

I've killed at least 50 loyalists in the green circle area and am unable to complete this quest. I've killed them in the surrounding areas as well, and still cannot complete it. Leaving the game and logging back in has not helped either.

A chance to get the Aetherblade skins again would be fantastic!

I have no problem buying gems with real money in order to get items I really want, but the randomness of paying all that money for a mount skin that I may or may not like is just too much. Never one who does well with RNG, it's not worth spending that much money for the hope of getting a couple of skins I'd actually like to have rather than the many that I wouldn't care to use. Oh so disappointing.
