I didn't notice anyone mention yet the Downed skills: Deception: does still generate a clone, and does not stock a blade Phantasmal Rogue: does generate the phantasm that makes 1 attack and then stocks a blade ... that you can't use That's an awful long time to wait for that Phantasm Skill just to have it do very little.

I had to restart the instance one time due to a bug in detecting destroyed turrets, but otherwise it went well. I'm confused with how the "stealth" works as enemies seem to "see" me even when I'm standing still frequently. Thank you dev team! I've been on the other side of bad releases and I know it must have been very stressful.

This would be more palatable if they could be sold on the trading post, like weapon skins only obtainable from BL keys. I would have thought it fun, and little dev work, to have a mini quest associated with the adoption. Or sell research tomes rather than adoption licenses. Really simple go here and interact with this point on the map, little bits of flavor text. Like a smaller, simpler version of the collections for the Gryphon. This just doesn't seem to serve the casual gamers at all. We can't devote that much in game time to amass the gold to convert to gems for this, and we also don't play enough to justify spending that much money to acquire 1 - 2 skins that we might like. So this remains confusing to me, since the hard core players will have plenty of in game money to throw at this problem, how is this bringing more money in for ANet? The gem exchange operates on a bank of gems people have already paid for. If these skins can't be acquired with gold in any way other than the exchange, what encouragement is there to continue to put gems into the exchange?

Count me among those that refuse to pay for RNG. I've picked up a BLC skin or two from the trading post for gold, but that's as close as I've ever come to supporting RNG in the gem store. I've always been against it and ignore the various forms of loot boxes. They aren't worth it for me, not even for in game gold. It's a guaranteed unlock or obtained through actual game play for me or nothing at all.
