Noticed a bug where I'm in a squad that's in lfg, I'll leave squad to try and hop instances in another squad that's in lfg for the same map. Whether I do or not (doesn't seem to affect outcome) The first squad I was in will now be invisible to me. I have confirmed every time that it's still in lfg from other people on the map, but I can't see it no matter what I do beside restarting the game. Even changing maps doesn't pop it back up for me. Second time in the last couple days this has happened to me and I think four in the last few weeks. Note for anyone wandering why the strange behavior, I'm normally in a levi squad and check if the parked jp lfg's are in another instance to see if levi is up in their maps. I use to do this all the time when levi farming at the start of soto and don't really do this scenario outside of this. So up until I got the itch to levi farm/fish and chill again a few weeks ago, I didn't know it seems somewhere between then and now this bug has come about.

How is it not? It sounds like you play the game a fair amount, heck just look at gw2effiency, you most likely have a bunch of mats just sitting in storage you could sell and have enough to get it.

I mean you can still get it for free, just convert some gold to gems and get the season.

I know it removes things and adjusts the price if your maxed out on anything. Like, I'm maxed on shared inventory slots and it shows at the bottom of the window when I hover over the package that they aren't included in it. However I noticed even though I'm maxed (17) on bank tabs it still includes it and makes me pay for it even though (I assume) it'd just sit in my inventory. So does this mean there is a way to get an extra bank tab now or is this a bug?

Top of this last hour 07:00 server time, I was in Lions Arch when I got booted back to login screen randomly. Hopped right back in and noticed I was about one minute behind the jumping puzzle I was doing then when I got booted. I asked map chat while I queued for a pvp match and a lot answered same thing happened to them. When I got into the pvp match, no of them had had the same issue. Not sure if someone somehow triggered the instance I was in to crash or the instance just randomly hiccupped.

Since the last patch I've played maybe 15 or so pvp games, out of those, 3 of them I've encountered this. The map gets chosen and then I hit the loading screen like normal, but then the loading screen will take 4 or 5 minutes instead of my normal 10 seconds to load into the arena's spawn. And every time this happens I get spawned into the floor or wall in spawn and have to do a quick re-log. The re-log never has any issues and I haven't had any issues with loading screens anywhere else. This has happened with three different pvp maps. I am on the same character who's in the open world if that makes any difference.

Actually it's fun and refreshing from time to time. Like, I've made Alt accounts a few times to to experience the game like a new player again over the years, normally a bit before an expansion. It's pretty fun (to me at least). Yes, most of the time I just spam tomes when I'm doing a key run or get another character slot, but it's fun not to too sometimes. And having the extra variety added to that with the weapon mastery.

Just seems like both in game and now gem store they're making more and more noob traps... I really don't like this direction.

I'm in the middle of doing Echoes of the Obscure achievement and yes I did the ambush event before talking to the npc Head Experimenter Rhianwyn so I could get the progress in the achieve. Getting the prompt to talk with her isn't the issue. The problem is I did got the progress in the panel, but it didn't give me the trophy in my inventory, and now I can't talk to her again as it thinks I've done it already (I've tried several times to do the event then go talk to her again but no luck). And as you need the trophy to forge the next part, I'm stuck. Misunderstood what I was reading on the wiki as the fourth item you need to forge for the next part isn't Echo of the Obscure trophy but needing to make an Inscription.

That's a bit annoying then, I'll try remember that for next time. Thanks for the info!

If this matters at all, I have a Metabolic Primer im using with Spherified Peppercorn-Spiced Oyster Soup. Ok, so I hop into wvw and run right into a mesmer before doing anything else and we fight and I end up finishing him. I somehow jumped up to 7/10 finished for the daily from just that. I think the clones that I killed counted? Well after that I run with a tag and we fight some zergs for a while, I get credited with a number of kills that I've tagged, however I notice I haven't gone up from 7/10. And yes I still have my Primer and Soup going. Not sure if my first fight bugged it or has been as flaky for everyone else, but yeah I can't get past 7/10 atm for the daily. UPDATE: Changed maps and got it from clearing some npc's from a camp... I don't know whether to be happy or frustrated it was that simple. Note, to be clear, I had killed several npc's on the first map I was in while with my zerg when we took a few camps/towers and they never counted.

You actually miss out on AA if you ignore it. Yes weekly you only need 6 of 8 to get the weekly chest, you can still do the other two for AA, so putting something in there that's bugged makes you miss out on getting max AA possible for that week. They really need to grey out the extra two imo so you can choose and not feel like you have to do all 8 regardless. And same for daily, add two and then when you get 4 of 6 done the other two grey out so you actually have a choice.

Anet did you really just make a weekly for Maws meta when it's been bugged since 2017?

That's what they will suggest to you, I'd say just use their email as I've tried all their suggestions before and still couldn't. Talking with others, seems some people just have issues trying to and they have no real solution as a fix. support@arena.net

I talked with several in map chat that had the same issues. I tried so many times to get defend and it just wouldn't count for the life of me. Repaired, killed players, cleared npcs attacking, sometimes all three in the same 3min window of 'repel enemies attack' and still nothing. Then I randomly kill someone passing by a camp I'm afking in as they go for a yak leaving it and it counts somehow. It's so freaking inconsistent and so unfun that you have to go out of your way for. It's just not worth it if they can't fix the consistency. Please just remove this from the daily/weekly AA. I think it's fine in the normal weekly WvW as you have a choice in those, but for daily AA you're forced to if you want to complete it.

Sadly didn't have the same luck. I got an email back after I sent them telling them exactly everything I tried and they told me their generic list of stuff to try which I already did and had told them that. They said they'd forward the email. I just got a reply from that next department and they told me to try things I already did, which I told them in my first email all of this. So two departments didn't read my email at all. IDK, pulling my hair out trying to get this to work to now pulling my hair out trying to deal with support just does not seem worth it atm. I think I need a break, or sleep, or both.

Yeah, just bad timing on trying to preorder I guess. Tried many different browsers, clear and re-entered things. Just keep getting a 105 error every time the last two days.

You for sure haven't read the forums or reddit if you think people agree with how the game is handled 100% of the time. Also no one even said you should just credit card your way to getting the skins you want, only you have said that as a complaint. You talk about knowing you can convert gold to gems but complain it takes too long to earn gold then complain you don't want to do any of the methods that make decent gold. I'd honestly say maybe it's time for a different game as it sounds like you completely disagree with the philosophy of this one.

You say you understand it's an mmo then ask everything to be pretty much 0 gold so you can get what you want with no grinding. You also point out ways that make good gold but don't want to do them and then complain you don't make gold. You say you're able to make and sell a legendary but only able to buy a skin or two with that gold, so you are making gold, but your not rich beyond your wildest dreams so there must be something wrong with the game? Honestly I'll try and answer part of this, look into external resources like the fastfarming and gw2efficiency websites, they can give you different idea's on gold making and maybe where gold is on your account you didn't know about like different currencies that you can make into profit or items in your bank you don't have a use for that are worth a lot. Another tip is don't wait for a sale on an item to convert gold to gems, wait till it dips between sales and convert it then, that way you have the gems to use on the next sale and can ignore the spike. Also also, don't know who's telling you unidentified bags are trash loot and wont make you gold but stop listening to that person for gw2 financial advice.

I don't know if it's just me, but these past two weeks it went from super rare for me to get thrown under the map or yanked into a wall to almost once a day playing. I'll change mounts while running along the ground, suddenly under the map. I'll run into a wall on auto run for a moment, suddenly glitched into the wall and stuck. As well as a way higher chance an enemy will yank me into something to get stuck in. My internet/ping is the same as always. Don't know if something changed on the back end of the servers, but this is a little too frequent for my liking.

My biggest fear is the combination of saying *insert new race here* is the big draw for one of the mini xpacs and no new elites. I think that'd lose so many veteran players all at once. I'm not necessary against the concept of a new race, I just fear what we would be losing in place of that being worked on. However playing devils advocate slightly, I felt that way when they talked about mounts. And mounts were done in such an awesome and unique way, that if they could figure out how to tackle it with a similar mindset and make some really neat content out of getting and/or using the new race, that could be really revolutionary imo.

Did all 10 while having a guide out, so never looked at the achievement till it didn't pop after it should have been finished, none counted.

It is. Did a private squad just after noticing the issues with the public, worked fine.
