  1. Why do i even want to spend my time and effort on convincing and teaching someone who i dont really know yet how much they wanna contribute to the group? Ofc I am always willing to teach or answer any questions as long as people show me their real dedication. I dont mind being wiped with them if they show me their efforts and their will. But No, I will never try to convince ppl i never know to play wvw. It's just a waste of time for both of us.
  2. Support skill nerfs? They are almost unmentionable. At least the guard ones.If you refer to engi, necro gets the corrupts gutted as well.If at all, I'd say boonspam is way too much.Removing a lot of it will also result in less dmg.And less survivability.Right now. Guard has way too many boons, that he can generate alone. Or support skills. I think even if you would make guard only give stability, some protection, some regeneration and aegis, there would still be a guard mandatory in every single group. Err what?1.Desert shroud doesn't give barrier to allies.2.Scourges dmg is already lower than rev and ele And fights wouldn't last longer than now. If at all, they are even faster over due to less barrier. The point I do agree with: less aoe spam pls. I really hope. These notes get adjusted due to the communities feedback.And not just go through without adjustments like all the patches before Scourges damage is pretty dam good when you add all the barrier and boon corrupts it does on top of thatyea, only outdated condi scourge does shit dmg. Power scourge dmg is insane and imagine when you stack 20 power scourges....
  3. Would your gameplay change as a result? not reallythe overall dmg may be still too high.Do you feel these changes would improve or worsen the state of the game? This is a good direction to improve the state of the game. But i think we still need to tune down all the dmg sources such as Manifest Shade, Hammer's Rev, and Meteor. This is just for zerg fight aspect. I personally want the wvw zerg fight to last longer than we have right now. At this state, people have to much power and dmg, so everything ends too fast.Are you looking forward to these potential changes? Ofc i am. I love to see this kind of info for my beloved game mode but thb this is not the most ideal change yet. Keep doing it! plz.What are your concerns with this set of changes? My concern is that the overall dmg will be too high compared to the support skill nerfs.What consequences do you expect would come from these changes? I expect that the fight would significantly last longer than before but i also expect you guys do something with Desert Shroud on Scourge. This skill is too good because it gives scourge and allies barrier, does massive dmg, apply condi, and can control a lot of spaces of fights.Btw I really appreciate that the devs try to listen to the community. This might not be good yet but as long as we are working together, we will be good. ps. There are a lot of hard core wvw players out there that dont use the forum but discord. It would be great if you guys try to reach out to them.The truth might be hurt or even come with a little toxicity at first but plz, believe me, those people know a lot about wvw and balance :)
  4. Come play on EU Friday reset. Last Friday people couldn't even press W properly. Dont even think about using any skills. It was lagging too hard more than I could take.
  5. I am the one who's still playing the game but not enjoying it at all atm. I still have my last 2 goals to do in the game. After i make it, i will quit the game for sure if there's no real content added. I am slowly turning into casual now.
  6. When Melee train was meta, did it include the current version of Spellbreaker and Berserker? Asking for a friend. I mean, if you think dodging out of shades and CoR is mind numbing, how would dodging out of winds and arc divider all of a sudden be engaging? Winds does nothing without Follow up bomb and the cd is quite different from CoR and Shade which are more spammable.
  7. Yep,zerging is, death by a thousand cuts. Every one that plays hammer rev or staff ele could just roll a scourge if they wanted to and nothing would change. All the staff ele probably did reroll scourge and were like "wow, double the health bar and I can do something useful like corrupt boons too!". These people that die to big glass cannon damage come to the forum to complain about dying to glass canon damage but in reality they were probably already dead due to being out of position and/or they already lost the fight but just didn't realize it rofl. The OP seems to be the guy who plays a glass cannon and complains because everyone dies too easy but hasn't accepted that the reason he can do damage is because he is probably sitting behind a competent wall of firebrands and scourges and fighting pug zergs. and lol, he links vids showing zergs clashing in melee range but complains that its all range damage fighting... I complant about 2 topics. Scourge shade which does 2 bomb zones (Self bomb + Range bomb) makes gameplay cancer. Rev/Ele range is too high. Maybe you are playing on a newbie server and never face a hard fight which 2 grps both are well organized. In the case of organized grps ppl will stack revs and spam hammer at 1200 then fight become pirateship.

  9. and this is what im talking about. well, nos. equal damage. and surprise attacks kill. if you want a counter to your scourge problem. just have a group with fb rev scrappers in it with its own scourge scourge. if you got 35 to 70, then fight someone without having to use veil or invis. it will not be a quick one unless you fight enemies with less experience. w/c server are you? And I am on WSR the most 2nd stacked server on EU. well your problem isnt damage. you just got numbers. :/ before shades were really op, now its so easy to avoid. everything has been nerfed u know also there are some talented players in wsr, some players transfered there last year, dunno now. But you know Anet cant control the number of ppl right so they need to fix the number of dmg instead. meh, no. in that instance my small team cant fight 2 to 3 our numbers if we cant kill them. ppl just need to get good. theres a lot of ways to counter a blob. Im gonna show you the state of the game during HoT era.Less Dmg , More Movement, Longer Sustain, Longer Fight = More FUN This is what I want. you can even burst zerg/blob with small number.At the current state you completely cant no matter how good you are, you cant 15 vs 30-40 (if those 30 are not completely braindead), just believe me. i have played this game since 2013. we were those zerg busters. =p ppl must adapt. also that applies then too. you cant zerg bust in hot eara with less than 20 unless the team you fight are bad. good players will always give you trouble.Once i am home, i will fine a vid with less than 20 ppl for you.

  12. just tear down a bit of meteor dmg is enough. I play a glass cannon hammer rev and meteors from a glass ele hit me for like 8-10k. What I have learned may shock you / 99% of people wont believe how easy this trick is ! As i replyed to others, Meteor is more acceptable cuz it takes skill to cast and place properly but Hammer Rev is spammable and even braindead players can spam 8k-10k dmg for the whole fight. Really? Cool I would like to see a vid of a hammer rev spamming 8-10k damage strikes for a minute straight.This is the most updated and This number is as most close as i could find atm. But this one is a veteran player.

  15. mmm... so, you've met a zerk ele. =) or zerk scourge. just a little situational awareness friend. the idea is simple. a small tanky group cant kill a big tanky group, but damage group can always kill tanky or damage groups. speed king, positioning is queen, and damage is the little prince. I didnt meet zerk ele and zerk scourge. That's what i am. I post this from the winner and abuser perspective. The gameplay is too fast and not fun at all. i think you just face not good players is all. its hard to find good ones when they stacked in x server or y server. since others are relatively casual. like we do meet bad players 15 or so and half of that dies to our 6 players, thru our zerk ele. but sometimes we do meet good ones who are half our numberd when we're 10 or so and they beat us. team synergy is a factor and ppl dont realize this. Sry for not giving enough detail. I mostly play wvw large scale around 30-70 man zerg. And with that number, zerg bursting is getting harder and harder every patch cuz they nerfed the main source of boons like chronomancer but never give a kitten about the dps classes. I saw a vid from HoT era which 5 ppl can survive and beat 30 man zerg if they play wisely and properly(that's what good skill play should reward you) but with this powercreep PoF, i would say 0% chance to do that. you can beat 30 if they are bad, bro. you see clips cause they meet easy prey. why not try doing a 10 man team sometime.You cant beat 30 with 5-10. If they have only 1-2 bubbles and push at the sametimes and chase you all they way, you wont be able to regrp to heal/reapply boon/reset skills. too much dmg to sustain. the point is if you are the one with lower number you get fked but if you have higher number, it's too easy. Maybe show me some vids, so i can see what you are talking about.

Ele dmg is dangerous but also take some skills to survive and cast it with proper timing and position, so it's fine i guess.

  20. I have been playing wvw for years. I feel like at this state of the game wvw is not fun anymore since scourges were released. The Ability to simultaneously range bomb and self-bomb is to OP. I wish there's a change that scourges can only bomb one spot at a time.I am playing scourge myself sometimes. It was fun for farming some noobs but it has been killing the overall gameplay for too long. One more thing, Rev and Elementalist range damage is a bit too high and fatal.Fights were a lot more fun when Melee train was meta. Now It's all about range.Fatal Damage should come from Group Coordination and Sync-Bomb not just from a few range classes.So please lower the range damage and make the game more melee and fun. If you have no clue what I am talking about, I can show you some vids of the current state and the the old once the overall damage was lower and no scourge. Please think about it Anet if you still wanna fix the game.
  21. in my point of view, I am feeling like the game is actually dying because we didnt receive any constant and proper contents for a while, only gem store and some stupid events.
  22. Simply not true, everyone cant be quitting cos I am not quitting.It is summer.. all things tend to slow down during this time for a whole wealth of reasons, not least the holidays, the sun, the sea and yeah some take a break and wait for the next event rotation or S5 to land. i hope so.
  23. I am feeling like everyone around is quitting the game, esp wvw players. Does anyone feel the same?
