Links are monthly now, so more camping T1 with an over stacked server/link. But this current WSR situation will be interesting to see how high it can rise from T5...

Where did I say it is OK for some servers to not be linked? You should read what I wrote once more. I am literally advocating for the deletion of links, dead servers and alt accounts!

6 months with no link while being stuck in T5 as an artificially "full" server because of alt accounts when there were no queues during prime time got me to leave FSP after 11.5 years! Let us be honest though, during these periods as a "full" server with no link, Gandara was still popular enough to have plenty of players to cover EBG and HBL, not too far off from where WSR is now. We will see if WSR is able to rise to T1 over the next 4 weeks, something Gandara was able to achieve nearly every time with no link.

Which mass transfers? It has never happened before that there are no other "full" or even "very high" populated servers. WSR always had to unfairly compete without a link, so might as well get enough players for a link to not be needed. 🤣

The mass migration to WSR was a statement to ArenaNet to get rid of dead servers and links! Imagine the amount of money they have to pay to Amazon for all these dead servers, it blows my mind that they have no done it yet considering the general obsession with cost mitigation.

I am so excited about the Ultimate Dominator change for WvW!! Now I can track my continued player kills to 10,000,000 because it means so much to me and my personal progress when 90% of players only want to do PPT as if WvW is a PvE type game mode. I am honestly surprised that the Diamond Legend Rank which so many players exploited to reach in EotM has not been changed to 100,000 at least as well... @Rubi Bayer.8493 is this perhaps something you guys can look into for the future? Thank you so much for all the hard and effort work with this update! Great job!

OK guys, maybe see you guys again in one month... @Roy Marks.7689for goodness sake PLZ stop mixing language servers! EVERYONE hates it! Germans can speak English, but they mostly prefer not to. French cannot speak English and they do not want to either. English speaking people do not speak German or French. How are you expecting German and Spanish players to communicate? The fact that NA does not have a Spanish server when the language is much larger in the Americas than in Europe indicates that you do not understand this issue and the frustration it causes for players.

It cannot be argued what a disaster this beta has been, but be assured that we will certainly hear later what a great success it was and how much progress was made to implement the needed systems.

It is quite incredible how something this basic gets stuffed up. The sad thing is that >90% of the players are completely unaware of what is going on. To them WvW is the same as it has always been, basically no change.

Glo, I love you a lot brother, but there is nothing normal with a medium populated FSP that is still loaded with a bunch of alt accounts! We all know where FSP should be. The state of WvW currently is just really sad.

The links from end of September were still normalizing, ie. strong servers in T5, weak servers in T1, particularly after the usual post-relink bandwagoning.

You said that WSR was stacked BEFORE the relink, though your own screenshot with data from 2023/10/01 when WSR was "Full" showed that players transferred. Going back to 2023/07/28 it shows 35 transferring... And this is only the data we have on gw2mists, which is but a sample. Not everyone playing WvW are registered on the site. Another indication is that WSR kept dropping tiers until the relink, but as you mentioned, players were playing with alts on other servers.

WSR dropped tiers before getting a link because they simply did not have the coverage, ie. they were not stacked. Hence the eventual population reduction.

To give some clarity here, this is the major issue with WvW... When all the "good" players bandwagoned to WSR and FoW, how do you expect ignorant "I just got home from my 8-5 slave job and finished feeding the zoo of kids after bringing some order to the nest and paying bills" mostly casual pugs to fight these servers?

The sad thing is that WSR won't even reach T1 to challenge FoW before the next relink. 🤣 In the meantime they will be destroying to morale and motivation of every other server in WvW on their way up and make players perma-quit the game!

No, they were not. The population for WSR lowered AFTER the relink. This is very clear on gw2mists.

To those who do not pay attention when I speak, I have mentioned this countless times. Firstly, since WSR finally got a link, and then finally somehow opened, there has been a massive wave of bandwagoning to WSR. You can see this clearly on gw2mists. The stacking was not the case before the relink. Secondly, FSP as a server has been stacked with alt accounts for a long time, players from other servers who chase after a particular commander when he decides to lead on FSP once in a blue moon mainly depending on opposition - server is "Full", but no queues during prime time peak, yea right. This of course lead to FSP first getting a string of garbage dead links, and then 3 no links in a row. Because of this some decent players started leaving the server. I myself left the server after over 11 years of being on it. What happened? The wheels started to fall off! Due to the overall lack of players, guilds are struggling to recruit new members. Constantly facing impossible odds of being significantly outnumbered in fights only cause players to become demoralized in a video game that they play to try and relax and have fun in. We saw [Big] and [AH] leave, one of the main alt hopper commanders left. What is left? [Kale], [Zero], [VAI]... People are want to jump on [ODIN], but what you all don't know is that they are also alt hoppers. People still do not want to recognize the issue with alt account hopping chasing after content like some ADD kid high on Prime or those who transfer directly after relinks. Both of these are massive issues that ArenaNet can control, but for some reason choose to ignore, so the WvW community "exploits" it to benefit their selfish personal enjoyment of the game. In short there is a massive imbalance between FSP and WSR in terms of populations. Also, just FYI, multi-boxing in WvW is against ToS.

What do you mean ?? FSP is already dead! The only players on FSP apart from Zero and Kale members are alt accounts. Even ODIN hops around with alt accounts. VAI will leave once they become aware of whats happening on FSP. WSR on the other hand do not care about links. It is a WSR-4-life type of thing. JTM!

You will learn what FSP felt like with 3 no links in a row after a string of garbage links while the server is stacked with mostly inactive alt accounts.
