  1. Roaming on ebg isn't roaming . Its fiesta smc clown mode 24/7.  When i que ebg i expect my team to gank and behave like apes. (at least when we cloud)

    Alpine Borders/desert are places better suitable for roaming/dueling .

    And isn't, turning the 1vX  around and winning, the goal anyway? And beeing outnumbered in general? Getting zerged down is unfortunate but when the situation is reversed? Isn't the opposite boring anyway as well..?

    But thats not because conditions are overpowered. Its because Cele has WAY WAY WAY to many stats. Now you add might ontop and suddenly you have a raidboss build.

    Well tbf some run 1-2 trailblazer dps/minstrel support cause it makes sense to be tanky when heavily outnumbered.

      

    Also 20-25 man guilds used to have the cele spelbreakers and chronos , cause immob duration . Now druid can pump immob so I guess they can afford more zergy builds.

  3. It's combination of condi builds into a hybrid setup that makes them powerfull , small-scale groups that play around hybrid setups , groups like srge , LD , gear... and others, are infamous examples.

    They farm pugs , they kills casuals they fall off vs any guild that knows how to single target , that get luled by blobs .. 

    Example: cele harbri/double cele sceptre, nightmare fuel...

    Vs anything that cannot fight it ye, it's powerfull. 

     It's all about where the "condi op" pov comes from....

  4. Replying to op, cele ren is used in zergs at least in EU . Can be high corrupts, need competent players on it tho. It mostly shines at 900/600 range and melle pushes , commanders playing at max range won't make the most out of it.

     

    I have tried core rev , you can get one or two more banish with mallyx f2 + charged mists.

     

    And as a bonus meme, since corrupts don't need any stats to set up , you can roll a lvl20 - 30 toon and still get high strips.

    We already have what you are proposing. It's called eotm "in-house". Both EU and NA have  discord servers for organising this. Basically if 2 commanders feel leading fights during a specific day, they ping the respective discord, people showing up , get split in two teams and we smash eachother faces in the arena. 

     

    The thing is, 3-4 hours of arena is enough to give us our fix but more of that usually gets tidious.... so borders is a good change of pace.

     

    We also have wvw in pve, it's called drizzlewood meta.

    Typical pug mentality of 90 percent of servers...

    you know a way to counter this? Ill tell you one 

    Log off from ranger and log with necros , start corupting with scepter / dagger /axe.

  8. Yes , its kinda coverstrips in openfield, scourge more effective 

    quickness from guards and scrappers if not stripped , will maybe put you in 4-5 strips during push/bomb 

    but to be fair no rev is runing bruta in openfield , its mostly for guild builds and in 20v20s quickness is even lower 

    i was trying it with diviner gear for the lulz

    its feels disqusting in gvgs , there its strips gallore 

  9. I got to test it in armistice with a guard guildie 

    He popped syg and i used dwarf hammers on him

    As long as you have quickness on you you will be striping stab on target per interval

    It does not show in arc as stripps tho but the skill is working

  10. I was thinking of another way 

     

    Players get no participation from capturing objectives , killing npcs escorting dollies, capping ruins, repairing walls or using siege . They would ONLY get particiapation from getting kills on enemy players, insentivising players to get out of objectives. To not make objectives useless tho you increase gold from kiling players and especially INSIDE the objective and raising gold per tier of structures ,camps included. 

     

     

    something like a basic ammount of 50 silver per player openfield , 1 g in t0 tower , 2 g for t2, 3 for t3 , smc starts from 1 goes up to 4 g, so players would actualy fight and not camp siege weapons making it pvp not siege wars. And a reason to let enemy in and fight in structures. 

     

    A Basic idea i know , has flaws like what dictates kills if defender kills inside tower, attacker outside, what about siege kills, etc.. 

     

    thoughts?

     

     

  11. I run t4 fractals daily as alacren

     I had the most misserable experience having tempest as healer. 

    Not that it lacked heals......it lacked stability 

    Half the time on boss fights i was stunlocked midcombo ... in the end i droped shiro for jalis ,smoothened things a little bit 

    and tbh , 90% of pve fbs fail to give stab too , so what can i even say for ele...

  12. Fb can get enough bags , just abuse t1, staff symbol ez , who needs symbol when rev exists 😛

    As for the cycle of coruption/rebooning/conditions depends on numbers and scenario as i have noticed 

    asuming equal numbers of fbs/necros per squad and same number of enemy in blobfights, rebooning after well/shade bombs is ok

    same goes for guild fights in the numbers of 20/30 

    in 15/10s the coruption in general feels its kinda higher than booning 

    in roaming depends what you fight , some classes have more boons others have more corrupts/strips , some have both, some classes have small strip capability and relly on absorption sigils

  13. I maybe dont get this... But u complain about the fact that you tried to solo a zerg with a thief and got chained gravwelled to the face? Apart from necro float cc i believe you got gravewelled and died in aoes. Revenant used to hitway harded with hammer btw , to the point of one shots so 8k is kinda fair considered you played thief and having 10 year experience . You mean bronze  solo players abuse ccs to kill diamond ranks , to the point of cheese? What does game dynamics have to do with alliances and population... im kinda confused by this thread tbh XD
