  1. Yeah, if they don't give us aquariums and only used for cooking, this may die off fast. Also, I can see us getting more cats depending on the kind of fish we catch or something else involving it. Plus I can see aquariums also being added to guild halls as furniture, but we'll have to wait and see how far they'll go. May be added during launch or sometime after.
  2. If we do get aquariums, I hope we get to display all of the fish we catch instead of some like in a certain game... Though if we do get them, I'm assuming they'll have it so certain aquariums can hold specific types of fish based on the body of water and their size if they really want to go into details.
  3. Well, people have said that getting things balanced would be to do away with the professions being different, which is even more unlikely to happen. But there are games that at least try to close the gaps (FF14 seems rather decent at that). In GW2 it feels too much all over the place and an additional profession would make it even worse. In all honesty, FF14's and GW2's stories are different. I'd be honestly overly impressed if ANet can pull it off.
  4. Not sure if someone has said this on the previous 60 pages, but maybe a way to hide male chest armor? It has been asked a couple times before, but if not, I do have a thread as another way to get it in a sense. (Plus we have seen Olmakhan Charrs without chest armor so...)

  6. They could, if they have the money and time, add elite specs for it in parts. It'd keep players coming back to see what the new elite is and also probably up the sales for the expansion. Though, I did see people saying the same it's less likely we'd get a new race as well.
  7. Funny enough, I did make a thread about maybe getting a new profession as well. Even had the idea it could act like a dragoon, possibly? It'd honestly be rather interesting if we could use spears on land and balancing is, like others have said, an illusion to achieve unless they do away with what makes them unique.
  8. Well, with new elites coming, which would be odd if they didn't, we would be getting a balance update. Hopefully Necromancer finally dodges the nerf bullets.
  9. It would be unlikely. A new profession would be a lot of developement/work and unending adjustment/tweak to achieve an illusion of balance. Granted the heavy fosuc of ANet on balance these last years, I doubt a new profession would be a viable option. Now, don't get me wrong, to bring back or gather new players it would be a great selling point. Yet I doubt it would be cost effective in the end. Very true, but before Revenant was released, weren't those saying the same thing? Still, it would be a welcomed surprise if ANet did indeed add a new profession. Just got to wait for another video or announcement to drop about what will be new for the expansion. Before rev the game had only 2 heavy classes and no elite specs. Yeah, I remember someone telling me how elite specs were amazing when they came with HoT. Though I am now thinking they'd have to make 3 elite specs for the new profession if we do get them. (Which they could work on after the expansion's release and slowly add them when they're ready, if they can afford to do that and have enough time to work on it along with patches and such.)
  10. Honestly, I feel like July or October would be the best bet. Though, Decemeber 2022, really? That'd be way, way after everyone loses the hype in my opinion, which would hurt the sales...
  11. It is possible, when the Nightfang Griffon skin came out, I was able to get it from a Black Lion Chest.

  13. Not sure how likely this could be, but it'd most certainly interesting to have a new profession like how we get Revenant with the Heart of Thorns expansion if my memory serves correctly (sorry if I'm way off.) I kinda hope that we'd get one that could use spears on land (I'd link the posts that I saw back then if I could find them again,) maybe something that acts like a dragoon with medium armor? Could use shortbows, sword, and warhorn (that's all I can think of at the moment.) It would be interesting to Aurene's power with this profession, but I kinda got the feeling that'd be least likely. If you guys got a way to make this better or got an idea for what could be the new profession if there will be one.
  14. Sorry if this counts as a necro-post, but I'm curious if it's possible that a god could become a legendary stance for Revenant. It would make for an interesting elite. Just, not sure if it'd be possible for a god, or well, a fallen god like Dhuum could become a stance or not.
  15. Yeah, I find it honestly odd that there's only one. Not to mention it'd be nice for medium to have more variations than slight copies of the same thing.
  16. Honestly, I'd love that, but I'm not sure if Anet could do it knowing how some companies can be. Regardless, it'd be nice to have this added after so long. (Especially since other games that have censoring issues that still allow male characters to have their chest showing that also have the same rating by ESRB.)
  17. I know that this is extremely late for this, but maybe we could get them in the gem shop if need be? For males, this would solve the invisible armor people want, however, I feel like this may be made for Charrs only as to "keep it rated T" as some may say. (Also, it would be a bit nice to have more race exclusive skins to collect.) If anyone have any ideas to push for this to happen or why it shouldn't, I'd love to hear it.
  18. What I don't understand is why people are always saying that the next legend won't be a human again as if there would be an overrepresentation of humans in revenants legends. There is just 1 human legend for revenant, Shiro. All the other legends are not human.Ventari -> CentaurMallyx -> DemonJalis -> DwarfGlint -> DragonKalla -> Charr So I think a human legend is still very well possible. Ventari would also be Sylvari. They haven't been around long enough for one of their own to really become legendary enough. No Treesus please. There are not Asuran legends nor are there any Norn legends. The new Rev espec should be one of those. There is an exception when it comes to Sylvari.I don't think you can deny that Scarlet had a major impact on the world and should be up there in the legendary tier, even if these have been fairly recent events. Still disagree that Norn or Asura should be the legend and also disagree with a Sylvari one (aka Scarlet) because of the point I mentioned: I think it would be a waste to not give us a Canthan legend for that expansion. I mean, it is a waste to not have Scarlet become a legendary stance. Not to mention she'd be perfect for those that want more range options with rev, but I do understand that there are those that also want more melee options. (Seriously, Rev needs a larger weapon selection.) For melee, I think Talon would be a good choice if Anet expands their lore. Scarlet definitely is one of the big players in the lore, hence why I mentioned her.But I just mentioned Scarlet for the sake of acknowledging her. I think she is not a good choice for the next elite spec (or any coming future elite spec, really). There are some points which speak against Scarlet. She wouldn't enhance the lore alot, unlike other legends. We discovered alot about Scarlet's past already when we dealt with her. Also her thematic: Scarlet basically has been a holosmith herself. Holosmith even referrences one of her iconic abilities in their ultimates, the prime light beam.In general, holograms and hard light have been defining for her as a character. Sure, there have been mechanical creatures created by her. But Scarlet herself mostly attacked with lasers and such. Which makes her too close thematically to holosmith to happen in my opinion.I love Scarlet, was one of my favourite characters in this game and she really is worthy of the title of a legend. But looking at what it would mean for an elite spec, I think it is better not to use her as a revenant elite spec.Yeah, that makes sense and I know we already got a Charr for one stance, but I'm curious to see if we'll get another like Bonfaaz Burntfur or Olma. We do know little about her and the Olmakhan compared to others, but I'm sure there are those that will disagree.

  20. So, I just had a thought, maybe Revenant could get the Legendary Prisoner stance that was used for a certain part of the story, if that's still possible. Not sure what weapons could be chosen, but it'd definitely be interesting. Though, I prefer Scarlet over Joko in all honesty, which could tie into the use of rifles like I mentioned earlier. Sorry if I've been all over the place with this post.
  21. Honestly, I can see plague doctor being a thing for Engineer. Alchemy did take a dive in fairness, but maybe Plague Doctor can rectify that? Also curious if the image used for it will display another Charr or an Asura this time.
  22. Yeah, I just drummed up what could be for Revenant, but couldn't think of what else could be done for the other classes. Sorry for it being so broad though.
  23. I'm not that great with coming up with ideas, but I was thinking Revenant could have either a pistol or rifle, just another range weapon since in the instance for pistol and rifle, we have one core range which is the hammer and for Renegade, it does make up for that, however, it focuses on conditions instead of pure raw damage, with the exception for Soulcleave's Summit. Also, I feel like it could focus on dodging, which the hammer doesn't really help, even if we want to attack our foes from afar. Anyways, I'm curious to hear what everyone else can come up with and if they got better ideas than what I got for Revenant.
  24. Thanks, I'll take this into consideration.> @Vayne.8563 said: Ah, gotcha and thanks, I'll contact you if I can.
