Could be a craftable item, but just because it says "Crafting Material" doesn't mean that it's definitely a crafted item. I think a mystic forge combination is the best guess so far.

I am assuming that this is unintentional. If you accidentally complete the hero challenge with the veteran purist necromancer on the far right middle side of New Kaineng City in Grub Lane, it will bar you from progressing your quest at the step "Beat up the bigot." The hero challenge can only be started once per day therefore I am sitting in front of the npc unable to fight him for progress on the main quest. If another player shows up and starts it you will get progress, but this is still a minor annoyance that should be patched in my opinion.

Queue has fixed itself(?) after about 1 hour of waiting offline.

I am stuck in queue as well, please patch this. PvP is unplayable for players with this bug.

It’s difficult to have fun when a “competitive” game mode that requires skill to crack larger groups is inhibited by lag resulting in a win for whoever has more bodies. The lag doesn’t allow any outplay potential for dropping skills, moving, cleansing, etc.

I've managed to load into a new instance at daily reset and was able to complete the event. If you are struggling to get this achievement, try to load into a new instance (get onto a new IP) in order to complete the event. The IP that is bugged is 34.237.22.62:0, Anet please fix this for all future players!!!

I noticed another thread similar to this but the title was misleading. Currently, the event titled "Defend the Zephyrites from the Branded" is bugged in Thunderhead Peaks thus obstructing progress towards the achievement "Visions of Thunderhead Peaks" needed for the achievement "Vision I: Awakening." From my sources, other players who faced the problem, which has been ongoing since August of this year, the only way to progress the achievement is to get into a different instance of the map which is a rare occurrence since the map rarely fills. The two ways I was recommended to do this was wait until evening in NA time zones or wait until weekly reset, 3am EST currently (It's either 3am or 4am I can't remember.) The IP that is bugged is 34.237.22.62:0. Whether you are having this problem or not, please submit a ticket to ArenaNet because this bug obstructs a legendary item that many have put countless hours and gold into.

Bump, IP 62 for me as well. Only rarely do other IPs open, usually in evening NA times. Also apparently the event does actually happen when the map "resets" at weekly raid reset time. 3am EST I believe, I'll try it out tonight and see what happens. But everyone make sure you submit tickets until Anet decides to fix this bug.
