  1. Item: Seven Reapers TorchRace: Sylvari (any race)Gender: Male (either gender)Class: Guardian (any torch-wielding class)The Seven Reapers Torch (off-hand weapon), when wielded, does not currently act as a light source of any color, even though all torches are light sources. The screenshot above was taken in the maze area of the Weyandt's Revenge jumping puzzle, the first of the two dark areas encountered there. The nearby visual effects are the Aegis visible effect and butterflies particle effects from the main-hand weapon (Caladbolg Iridi).
  2. Big deal. Like I said, you don't like them hopping around you, walk away. If they keep hopping around you, chasing you down, then run them into a zerg! They may be hopping around you, but they're not doing anything to you. If any PvP-focused community really thinks what they're doing in that video is trolling, those people need some thicker skin. And WvW isn't any typical PvP-focused community. It's a PvP-casual, no-holds-barred landscape. Trolls everywhere, and they don't need mounts to do far worse than what that video shows. The only thing I don't like about mounts is the death-pounce, but if I got low enough for it to factor, I'm probably dead anyway.
  3. Your video shows nothing about how mounts suck. If they won't fight, just move on. Oh, but they kept hopping around you? Then lead them into a zerg! If they're just hopping around you, they're not attacking you. You were out of combat for long periods of time early on while they kept hopping away, so you could have mounted up and gone anywhere else, anytime you wanted. Your argument might have had more impact if one of these guys had pounced you dead. They didn't even do that. These two only put a beatdown on you after they dismounted - though really, you dismounted one of them, albeit through a greatly labored effort. Mounts by themselves don't do much damage, even to another low-HP mount, so you could have gone somewhere else and found another fight very easily.
  4. From what we've been given: no, you won't be marking yourself as a WvW account to enter WvW. You only place a mark in your guild panel, where you will select one of your guilds as your usual WvW guild - that guild must also be designated by the leader as a WvW-playing guild for it to be chosen. The WvW matchmaking system will place you on a world with other players that have marked the same guild, and with other guilds that are in an alliance with your guild, as designated by the guild leaders. Picking a WvW guild is not necessary to enter WvW. If you have not selected a WvW guild when the worlds are created - this will happen every 8 weeks if you miss it or want to change it - then you are a "solo player." You might find a few guild mates here or there, supposing they didn't mark a guild either. You could potentially find a lot of guild mates with you if you land on your guild's world. In the same vein, you may end up playing against your guild for 8 weeks.
  5. I would have just edited my post to include this, but old post edits aren't permitted by lowly recruits, so I'll just pad my post count instead:Ref: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/comment/262047/#Comment_262047 I've decided to "double down" on this because I not only posted about this six weeks ago, I posted about this on the old forums over a year ago, archived here. In addition, others encountered this on the old forum - here, here, and here. I'm certain this post seems a bit petulent, but from our side, it looks like a lot of these are just passed over. This one isn't a minor clipping issue though, it's a dye channel issue - inexplicably caused by a different armor piece. It's an issue that has been here for 2½ years now, requiring multiple posts - and multiple forums to get the point across. I hope you have had a merry Wintersday.
  6. Item: Sorcerer's EpauletsRace: HumanGender: FemaleClass: Necromancer, Elementalist (any light armor user)The inner fascia of the Sorcerer’s Epaulets are being affected by the second dye channel from the boots. This is not limited to a single set of boots, as I have included different boot skins from a couple of different characters – one of these is even from the same set. Below, I have included an image from both sets with the color I’m currently using, followed by an image with a more contrasting color. The first set of images are of my reaper wearing Incarnate Boots. The second channel on the boots has been dyed Imperial Red followed by Electro Lemon. The second set are of my elementalist with Sorcerer’s Shoes. Here, the second channel has been dyed Silver followed by Electro Pink. The color on the inside of the left epaulet panel does not match the second dye channel from the epaulets as the outside of the epaulet panel does, but instead matches a dye from the boots – always the second dye channel on the boots, no matter the skin used.
