There is no good reason for it to not have happened 9 years ago. Please prove me wrong, or, ANet, please apply stealth to mini pets in WvW and PvP. Really, who has the time to adore them during competitive gameplay? Deactivation would be easier, since the function already exists (they get automatically deactivated when a map is highly populated). Coding a stealth function for mini pets would be a lot more work.
